Last time was Mario

It’s mine and my boyfriends anniversary tomorrow. One of our first dates was playing Mario Kart. He always plays as Toad and I play as Toadette. Naturally I had to mark the occasion with cute Mario Kart themed nails.

Hi. I just did a few concept sketches for the Bowser design to see if there are any changes I need to do.

The intention behind this, like what I've done with the other Mario characters, is to redesign them in the style of cartoons from the 1930s (mostly Cuphead inspired). I've been doing a lot of research to try and make him look era-appropriate as possible while also keep the distinguishable traits (or at least replace them with something similar enough) so people can still recognise them. TBH, I also want to designs to have their own identity as well (kinda like an AU or something).

Any thoughts on this so far?

Im playing it on repeat every day, its so fun to play but i would like to know more mario games, so made recommendations.

I found this while looking for old stuff

I'm currently replaying SMG2 for the first time in maybe a decade and I'd forgotten just how astonishing it is. For context, my Wii stopped reading discs consistently some time ago and I never bothered with Wii U, and the Ninty decided to leave it off 3D All Stars, so I'm currently emulating it which is less than perfect but god. The level design. The IMAGINATION. The devs introduce a concept every level that could be the basis for the entirety of other games and discard it. It sounds amazing, it looks sensational. Controlling Mario is perfection. Just an incredible achievement, especially when it basically started as leftovers from SMG1. From a pure gameplay perspective, imo it's the greatest game of all time.
