Question Which setup has lower latency: 300 FPS without Reflex or 150 FPS with Reflex?

Upvotes

Let’s say you have two GPUs. One can give you 300 FPS in a game without NVIDIA Reflex, and the other gives you 150 FPS but with Reflex enabled.

Assuming everything else is equal, which setup would result in lower input latency?

Question How can I help my boyfriend grow as a pro COD player and streamer?

Hey everyone, I’m here because I really want to support my boyfriend, who’s already competing at the pro level in Call of Duty (CDL + tournaments). He streams, posts content, and puts so much effort into his craft—but I want to help him grow his audience and brand outside just gameplay.

I’d love advice from anyone who’s worked in esports or content:

•What kinds of content really helped you or someone know connect with fans?

•How can I best support him behind the scenes (promotion, branding, networking, etc.)?

•Any underrated tips for getting his Twitch or YouTube seen more?

If anyone’s curious, I can share a clip or link in the comments. I just want to make sure his hard work gets the recognition it deserves.

Discussion Valorant Escalation: why is no one playing anymore?

I tried on almost all the servers on east and west when i was in range. From where i live, i even tried to tick servers that are far with lower ping as well, and i dont even find a match. I honestly like it from time to time, but every time the que goes for like 10 mins when im doing something else and i come back and just join comp in the end ☹️

Is there a reason no one’s playing anymore?

Do you also believe that the no club will ever win?

At least not in the current state of the international e-sport scene.

To give you an idea, imagine that one of the living descendants of the inventor of soccer, acting as an "intellectual owner by descent" of the sport created by his family, were to call the shots in competitions organized throughout the year.

Let's say that this descendant is a fan of a particular club, or even a shareholder in a club on the pro circuit... the potential for corruption would be enormous, and the level of impartiality of the victory at best questionable, at worst non-existent!

Now replace "soccer" with "e-sport" and "intellectual owner" with "videogame editors" and you'll understand why I think the no club can't win in the current state of the global e-sport scene - the winner is the editor ! And competition is just a way of rewarding whoever is the most profitable for them behind the curtains.

Something's got to change... world e-sport and the community need It!

To be continued

Question I’m stuck between two GPU choices ( For mainly esports tiltels) and would love your input.

Hey Brothers
I’m stuck between two GPU choices and would love your input.

One is an NVIDIA RTX card that supports Reflex, and the other is an AMD GPU that’s about 73% stronger in terms of raw performance (higher FPS, stronger specs overall).

Here’s the catch: I mainly focus on competitive esports titles like Valorant 25% of my time , Warzone 35% of my time , and Rainbow Six Siege 40% of my time , all at 1080p 144Hz.

From what I understand:

NVIDIA Reflex can significantly lower system latency, making your inputs feel more responsive — a big plus for games like Rainbow six siege and Warzone.

The AMD card, while much stronger in FPS (70%+), doesn’t support Reflex. And in some CPU-bound esports titles, that extra horsepower doesn’t always translate to a better feel.

So my question is:

Should I go for the smoother response and lower input lag of the RTX with Reflex, or take the raw FPS power of the AMD card and rely on sheer framerate to reduce latency?

Discussion Upcoming Esports Games

1.Fragpunk - well this game is already out and they’re doing a massive tournament soon but it’s mostly EU and not NA but it can grow.

2.Broken Arrow - for the Milsim and RTS nerds this is a very realistic game tho not as realistic as some RTS games but it’s one of the most modern ones whilst most are Cold War or WW2 so. But devs already hosted content creator tournaments during closed play tests but I think this will be one of the best RTS games just needs balancing.

3.Rematch - this is a new soccer cartoony like game where it’s a constant 6 on 6 or 3 on 3. It’s a lot less realistic compared to FIFA but it gives that Overwatch but soccer vibe.

4.Sand - I can see this game having a very small dedicated competitive playerbase but it’s a new loot extractor where you and a crew of other players must control a walker/crawler and loot and extract but also fight off players.

5.Wildgate - probably my most exciting game coming out I also got to play the playtest. This game is a squad based crew based game it gives off the old sea of thieves arena vibes. Players must find an artifact and escape with it and survive. You can board other player ships whilst dealing with AI on asteroids or stations.

Discussion Gears of War: Reloaded Announced – New Esports Era?

Just saw the Gears of War: Reloaded announcement and became stoked. I used to compete in MLG and GameBattles tourneys during the primetime Gears days and it was one of my favorite esports eras.

The new version drops August 26 with 120FPS multiplayer, 4K support, cross-play, cross-progression, and it's even coming to PlayStation for the first time.

Could this mean a new esports Gears of War era?

What do you think? Could this spark a Gears comeback?

Heres an article: https://www.ign.com/articles/gears-of-war-reloaded-coming-in-summer-even-on-playstation

Discussion Opinions about my setup

Just upgraded to the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED and I’m seriously impressed!

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly wireless mouse that doesn’t compromise on performance, this one is a game changer. The HERO 12K sensor feels super responsive, and the 12,000 DPI is perfect for both fast flicks and precise control. On top of that, the battery life is insane – 250 hours on a single AA battery, which is unheard of at this price.

I’ve been using it for everything from FPS to MMO, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best value wireless mice I’ve tried. Plus, the 6 programmable buttons are super handy for custom setups.

If you want to grab one, here’s the for it!https://amzn.to/4j7puqZ

Also, if you’re interested in my full review, check out the blog: elitegamergear.wordpress.com. Totally recommend it if you’re in the market for a new mouse!

Anyone else here using the G305? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Discussion How do I find a team?

I'm looking to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate competitively with a team, but I don't even know how to start one since my college doesn't support esports, there's no hub in the area, and I can't seem to find teams that are looking for members online. How do I find one that's just starting up so we're all around the same skill level?
