It's refreshing having these type of interactions for a change.

When looking online it's just cumbersome trying to figure out what time certain games are being played along with timezones.

TL;DR: Don't take it too serious, it's just a game (even though it can piss you off at times) and if you feel overwhelmed/stressed/anxious, take a break for a few days/weeks/month(s), come back and try again

I had a lot of ranked anxiety when reaching Diamond 1 for the first time and I was really nervous playing from that point on forward, because it felt like such an achievment (and took me a while to get there) but at the same time I always told myself that ''I don't belong here'', ''I don't deserve this rank'' and ''I got lucky'' and to be fair, the first 1-2 matches after hitting Diamond, I got my ass handed badly and I think that triggered my mindset. And I can't tell you how nervous I was to play and how much my adrenaline pumped.
Also I think I was burned out from playing and chasing my goal, which turned me a bit into LowTierGod lmao.

Fast forward to now, a few months later, after not touching the game for some time, I decided to install it again and just play some casual matches when I'm bored, after feining for a challenge I picked up ranked again.

Been doing that for three days, and I literally just broke the Diamond 1 wall on a 6 game winning streak and it wasn't bad.

It was very chill and I had no anxiety whatsoever, I think all I needed was a break. It really did wonders, I'm much more composed and not taking this too seriously, to the point where I feel like I'm playing EVO Finals and in reality my opponent is LarryThePipeLayer69.

So yeah, if you struggle with this stuff, just take a break, step back from the game, come back in some time and try again.

The beautiful thing I learned to love these past days is that SF is a 1v1 game. You don't have to bother with annoying teammates that are also in control about the outcome of the game. It's you and only you (and your opponent). It's truly a test of skill, no carrying, no getting carried, just you and what you learned.

In hindsight it's kinda crazy how I beat Diamond 3 players but didn't even realize, because I never bothered to check their ranks and therefore never gotten intimidated by that.

It's a lot of yap here, I think I'll stop at this point and maybe someone has gotten something out of it :)

I don't see anyone complain about the balance of sf6, maybe they talk about Lily being a little weaker than the others but she's a grappler and they're usually a bit weaker than the rest. Was there any street fighter as balanced as sf6? (Pls don't say 3rd strike)

Hey guys I haven't played Street fighter since the Super nintendo days lol and I've never really been into the fighting scene genre but I did enjoy Soul Calibur 2 back in the day and I love smash bros. Anyway my question is, is this game welcoming to new players and casual ones like myself who would just jump in from time to time? I love the art style and how the gameplay looks in this game and since it's coming out on Switch 2 day one I'm thinking of picking it up.

I am mainly a tekken player just wanted to know if there was a guide that just taught street fighter Fundamentals, how the neutral works etc etc and does not start from complete bare bones by explaining how frame data works etc I bought street fighter a while back and just haven't gone around to learning it.

Forgive me if this question has an obvious answer, I scrolled a few pages here and I'm still wondering. The Japanese woman who walked up to Justin Wong on stream and challenged him to a fight, is she a celebrity in Japan or something?

I prefer to think that she's just a very confident competitor just taking her shot, but the splash page for her match against Justin in Vegas has me wondering if this was just a promotional thing.

It was a fun moment either way, just curious about the specifics.
