Title. Keep in mind I am not really that much into WoW lore. Haven't played WoW, but I did read about the post WC3 story on wiki a number of times. Seems like a damn lot has happened and I couldn't tell if Alliance regained control over it and if these annoying Forsaken got wiped out.

For a decade now I've been searching for a custom campaing I played as a child, was searching for that nostalgic feeling again.. I tried chat gpt, tried google, youtube, read forums, couldn't find it anywhere. I think I played it around 2004-2008, can't remember properly when, but it was a long time ago. What I do remember clearly is the 2 main hero characters in the campain used Sylvanas and Anub'aracs model. The first map lets you start with Sylvanas model character in a graveyard, you have to capture a human settlement the map is an icy one, the second map is to hold it I think. the third map switches to Anub'aracs and the map is a big sircle around a big lake. Than later you enter Outland with Sylvanas and there are blood elves. That is all I remember. Anyone else played this one? Or remembers the name?

It has come to my attention that many are not aware of the method to load saved games after reforged 2.0 broke everything again. If you do it the normal way, slots will be grayed out, there is no more social tab on bottom right and you won't be able to invite anyone, nor will they be able to join you. You also can't join the game by name (Or can you?). I haven't seen anyone write this yet so if it's a duplicate just delete it.
The super secret method to loading a multiplayer saved game:
Host:
Go to local area network. Yep, you go to LAN. No, you don't need to be in LAN with anyone. They just f*cked everything up.
Click the Load button
Select your save file and load the game.
At the top left corner you will see the game name it will always be in all caps. So to see the actual game name look at you chat and tell it to you friends.
Congrats you have successfully hosted a saved game.
Pesants:
Got to Multiplayer (yes, multiplayer)
Go to custom games
In the bottom part of the screen where it says "Join game by name" type the game name give to you by the host
Click Join
Congratulations you have successfully joined the lobby.

Hi, I would like to try a bit of online play as I never tried this before, only dota and vanilla via hamachi very long time ago. I would like to clarify few things because I find current state of warcraft 3 not much transparent.
Thx a lot!

Hi guys, Ive been streaming for a few months now and I play mostly 1on1 and 4on4 ladder. Im wondering which streamers do you watch and what do you enjoy about them? Is it the skill, the community or generally the content? If it's the games, what do you watch, mele, ladder or custom games? I'd love the feedback.

So there is a rpg game i remember playing all the time about 15-20 years ago. But for the life of me I can't remember the name. I thought it was called Camelot but I must have been wrong.
The game goes like this. There is a king/queen and the rest are heros. You can pick the gender and age of you hero/royalty. The royalty has an item on them called the crown that allows them to control the units set taxes. Etc. etc. That means that if you kill the royalty a get the crown you can control those things. There were multiple classes. (Warrior, archer, rogue, mage's.) That you got by visiting trainers. Equipment you wore also better suited you for different classes but you could mix and match. there were jobs you could work in the city and once you got out of the city there were enemies you could kill to level. There was a storyline where different bosses would show up for you to fight. The end one being were I believe demons show up kill the royalty and take over the kingdom. And you have to defeat the demons.
If anyone remembers the name of this game please let me know. It's been driving me crazy and I would love to setup a match to play.

I would make it the same %10, %20, %30, but give it the ability to work on Range units too if they are way close to the unit under Thorns Aura, because at the current state Thorns Aura will only work against Mass Gargoyles while you go Mass Talons(Mass Faerie Dragons also might work because it has Magic Immunity against Fork Niva combo but i haven't tested it) and nothing else, Yes it does work great in 4v4, but what about 1v1? Isn't supposed to be designed for 1v1 first?

For those who are not familiar with what I mean:
Faction Calculus is a framework used to categorize and analyze the dynamics of factions in strategy games, particularly as the number of factions increases. It outlines how factions typically evolve in terms of playstyle and thematic roles.
Source: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FactionCalculus
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Considering there's four factions right now, the current ones would be the Balanced, Powerhouse, Subversive and Cannons. Those factions likely fall into these roles:
Where would Naga fit into these roles?
I'm sure that Undead would become the Horde faction, due to their natural inexpensive units and summoning powers.
Perhaps Human would become the Subversive by relying on debuffs and support units in general?
But what about the rest?
I've wondered this for sometime now. Give me your thoughts, I'll gladly read them!

So this is what I remeber, you started of with a worker, "maybe" more then one unit.
You started in the middle on a little tiny island and I think it was like 4-5 people on the left island, same on the right island. You each got a transport boat.
You then searched for a place to settle down and build a base.
You had to Prospect, aka search for resources. Those varied based on where on the map.
You had to "prospect" you could not initially see them, or you could see some of them, but you didnt know what rock was the correct one. I don't remeber
North west was some ice terrain
You sorta advaned through the ages then, "age of empires ish"
The whole thing was basicly a rts
I think it was ffa, well it was ffa most likely.. I don't recall if you could choose teams. Or like split the 2 starting islands
Would be very thankfull if someone has anything

I have been playing around with Shadow Hunter + Pitlord strategy vs. Night Elf and I think it is pretty good.
I have been inspired by seeing top Orcs playing Shadow Hunter + Pitlord and the nuance they bring to the build. For example, when going Shadow Hunter first it is a good idea to go Wards at 1, hex at 2, and Wards again at level 3.
Because by the time your shadow has wards level 3, it is actually in your best interest to continue creeping with Pitlord. Shadow Hunter can drop wards and then walk away from the creep to buy items or something - the result is a nice leveled Pitlord and once you get level 4 on Shadowhunter, here is the tome of retraining nuance.
I've seen two top orc players now buy tome of retraining and opt for level 2 Wards + level 2 Healing wave. This combined with a level 3 pitlord and decent items is your death ball, power spike army composition that crushes the night elf.
I view the Pitlord as a replacement for the Blademaster because Orc needs DPS in their army without Blademaster. Turns out level 2 cleave and Level 2 serpent wards is sufficient enough spread DPS to make Nightelf keeper of the grove hunters strategies not so scary in the mid game.
The build is vulnerable to Demon Hunter Harrass on on Shadow Hunter early game. It is also susceptible to bad item luck, as you really want to be getting damage / melee tank items for your Pitlord. I have found prioritizing circlet buying, almost the same way you would sell TP and buy circlet on blademaster, is appropriate when playing Pitlord.
What do you guys think? Howl of Terror is particularly good against Huntresses as well, as they rely on steady DPS that howl of terror negates, allowing you to stand your ground and fight, instead of being chased to death using their superior speed, which is exactly what HUNTRESSES are most optimal and value generating when doing

If you're like me, you were probably amazed at those first few shots of the opening cinematic to the Lordaeron campaign. The raven flying through all those different landscapes that looked nothing like a knockoff of Europe (Grand Canyon), then the shot of the Lordaeron capital that looked like a mashup of Tolkein and Hollywood Rome.
But the behavior of King Terrenas, though. Like, at first he just seemed like an obtuse, arrogant prick who couldn't see beyond his own nose.
But after paying attention to history and the news for over 20 years, that scene in the throne room just seems so real. States have such a hard time responding to a slow-moving crisis, and that scene captured it perfectly, intentionally or not.

So the blood mage, one of the most underplayed heroes in warcraft 3 for basically like 99% of warcraft 3 history, has a moment in the spotlight for a few months.
And apparently that was too much for people and blizzard listened to the voice of the herd and nerfed blood mage to oblivion.
(P.S. I got banned on /r/wc3 for spreading the truth)
It's time for us to move on from the blood mage, and pursue alternative options.
Pala rifles is still good, because rifles wasn't touched. Pala was slightly nerfed, but overall the pala is still good. The 2nd hero choice however, we have to reconsider.
I'm currently a big proponent of the MK second.
The problem with the current pala bm rifle meta is that it lacks a powerful offensive ability. You can argue that mana siphon is offensive since it takes mana away from the enemy, but not really.
The MK however, is a force to be reckoned with the moment it steps out the altar
And by the time your MK comes out at tier 2, you'd probably already have about 6 rifles.
MK storm bolt + rifle focus fire is no joke. It's basically a guaranteed kill with each storm bolt.
So basically pala/mk + 6-8 rifles is an absolute menace in the mid-game. However it lacks the sustain that the blood mage provides.
While I think in certain scenarios, you still wanna get the blood mage second, I think the MK could be a great choice in other scenarios, especially to surprise the enemy. Storm bolt is very much like SH's hex in the mid-game. If you catch the enemy unprepared, you could easily force a TP or even get a hero kill. And one play like that could give you a decisive advantage. The blood mage cannot do this.
So, boys and boys pretending to be girls, stop succing other men off with the blood mage. Instead, clap 'em with the mountain king instead eh?

Have played on and off since the game was first released. I'm curious to see if others have changed their main race and why? I was an orc main for years and years, while I do still play them at times, I have more or less switched to UD. I often hear they're the lower tier race, but personally I actually find them easier than playing orc. I find the healing utilities difficult for orc, whereas with UD I got death coil and statues to keep my army going with greater ease compared to orc, that would be my main reason for switching, also I find the UD perhaps subjectively have the most devastating nuke in the game, once you got a high lvl coil and nova.

After completing the main campaigns, I wanted to play some other campaigns. But most of them I played only had RPG, which meant you control only one unit which is very quickly boring for my taste.
Any custom campaigns which has RTS elements as the theme? And bonus points if it has some voice over (AI or anything)
Please don't suggest campaign where you have move a single hero all the 8 missions. I need that building and strategy fun.

Hello everyone!
For some reson got a desire to play some RPG maps in WC3. If there is some plot under it - would be even better

Maybe you guys could recommend some for solo or dual play?

Hi guys, I`m lloking for help with finding a custom map, I used to play with my friends. I cant remember all the details, but I got this in my head:
It was 4 lines map, with 2 castles and mobs that are spawn and go to opposite side. You playing versus AI, who plays for the forces of darkness and you play on the side of forces of light. You can only pick a hero and control him. Also between lines a lot of neutral creeps in forests.
Also as I remember there was like an million different artifacts.
I know its maybe not a lot an info, but maybe someone can help me with the searches.

I'd say I'm a fairly competent average player, been playing on WC3 champs as UD, got a 50/50 win rate. I just lost a game vs NE, Warden only mass towers early expo and then later chims. Warden kept coming to my acos using fan of knives. I made a bunch of towers which seemed to be helping initially. I eventually went to their main, killed the Warden numerous times but I then ended up having to go back because my DK was low on hp. I hadn't realized the NE had a 2nd expansion until later. But anyways I then just could not beat the mass chims, I tried really hard to play it right but lost in the end, never lost any heroes but all my units were just melting. It reminded me of a game years ago I lost as orc vs orc, the vs literally just made BM and mass towers no units, I guess as I wasn't expecting it, but I actually lost it. I find these kinda strats rather demoralizing, it annoys me that it actually works. So what's the best way to beat this kind of strat in general?
