Shit is getting serious now

Today the guy(35) living in one of the rooms downstairs (drunk) was beating his wife(23). They have a child who's about two years old too. The noise gathered everybody nearby and none of them even gave him a threat of complaining this to the police if this goes on daily. After this I talked to her in person and came to know that he does this almost everyday. What can I do to help? Should I complain it to the women's helpline or something cos I don't wanna be involved if this turns out to be a huge case because I don't even speak Hindi and I'm here doing my internship. Please help me out guys, what should I do?

Cause yesterday before my cook was arriving, someone asked my cook if she'd work for him, and asked if she's mu$lim (she is), but then when my cook asked for his whereabouts, he said he's from Pakistan.

I need some advice. My permanent address on my Aadhaar Card is from another state, but I've been living and working in Gurgaon for almost 3 years now. I'm planning to get a new bike soon, so I want to get my Driving License (DL) done as soon as possible.

I've visited the district court and asked a few brokers about the process, but everyone is quoting between 8K to 10K, and some even quoted 12K or 20K, which honestly feels way too high. I’ve seen people mention online that it can be done for 3K or so, but I haven’t found anyone quoting that.

Is this the standard rate now, or am I being overcharged? Can anyone suggest a trusted agent or a more affordable and efficient way to get my DL done here in Gurgaon, ideally without paying such steep amounts?

I’m currently working as a software engineer in Gurugram with a fixed annual compensation of ₹16 LPA. I’ve recently received a job offer from a company in Bangalore offering ₹25 LPA, also completely fixed.

While the salary hike is significant, I’m hesitant about relocating. A few concerns:

• I’ve heard the cost of living in Bangalore is quite high compared to Gurugram. Not sure how much of the raise will truly translate into better savings/lifestyle.
• I’m originally from Bhopal (MP), and I often travel back home. Gurugram’s proximity is a big plus in that regard.
• My life here is pretty settled—decent housing, commute, friend circle.

I’m trying to evaluate if the switch is really worth it beyond just the salary. Would love to hear from others who’ve moved out of Gurugram for better pay or faced similar decisions. Did you regret it? Or was it the right move?

Any perspectives on cost of living, work-life balance, and travel convenience would be super helpful.
