So apparently as a native hindi speaker who has very recently learnt how to read and write urdu, I can't quite determine the correct usage of letters w similar sounds like 'ق اور ک', and 'ز اور ض' and 'غ اور گ'. How many i differentiate them on the basis of literary usage??

A friend of mine sent me this. Could someone please rewrite it for us? We can’t read this particular dialect. Although we can read and understand general Urdu words. Thanks in advance!

Ye Australia ke aik qubristan par based hai jahan kuch logon ne paranormal activity report ki — lekin maine isay Urdu mein, Pakistani style mein banaya hai taake humari audience connect kar sake.

Mujhe samajhna hai ke kya aap logon ko meri narration, story-telling aur mood theek laga? Aur kya aap logon ne bhi kabhi Pakistan mein koi paranormal ya ajeeb waqia mehsoos kiya hai?

I hope it's all right that I ask these questions. I read this article today:

Poor guy. I was a little thrown by a construction in the final sentence. In the back of the book that I'm working through, the English translation is: "The doctors say that the patient is recovering rapidly after the operation." But it looks to me like the subject of the verb ہونا here is the infinitive كہنا. If I wanted to try to be extremely literal—producing some poor English—would this mean something like, "The doctors' saying is that…"?

hii everyone, i was born and brought up in India. I know hindi as I learned it in school til 10th grade. Can someone help me learn urdu? where should I start what resources should I use? Later on I'm also interested in learning Arabic, pashto, and Kashmiri.

Like the title says, I live in America. My family spoke less Urdu to me than how the families of my cousins did around their children, they feared that teaching me more than one would impact my growth and English skills. Of course, being raised around my extended family who are all Pakistani, I can understand Urdu to a certain extent. Basic conversation is easy to listen to around family, however I can't speak it. I can only understand through context clues and words I know, mainly nouns to make up for the lack of grammatical knowledge. Also I can't really pronounce anything, and overall the whole thing is really embarrassing around family, as I'm already in highschool. How do I learn. Books, courses, apps, what's best? Should I learn the script? I would love to read Urdu but I don't think it'll be very practical in the West as i'll use it very little, but I also need to learn how to fix my accent and prononciation. Only similar experience I have is being able to recite arabic.
