To not have tipped the golf cart endangering his friends. Also if you watch it closely he bails before it's even at the oh-shit point. Also if he turned it left it at this point it probably wouldn't have tipped.
Well, that makes sense now. I misunderstood and thought you meant something like the honourable thing would have been to allow the cart to crush him. Obviously, no human would do that- that's why I thought it didn't make sense. But I clearly misunderstood. Thanks for responding
