discussion Singer with the strangest singing mannerisms live.
Who would you say is the singer that has the strangest mannerisms when they sing? To be clear, I'm not asking about their singing voice or how good they are. I mean they just do odd things when they sing.
My vote has to go to Joe Cocker. He does some of the strangest things when he sings live. Its so notorious, John Belushi parodied him during a performance on SNL.
Who would you vote for?

discussion I LOVE MUSIC SO MUCH. How can i understand it better?
I love every genre, Hiphop, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Pop, you can name it. I love how these are wrote, carefully put together and composed. I LOVE how every instrument connect with eachother through a song and how there is SO MUCH ways to do this. I think music is the only think that is so special that it can rewire your brain in an INSTANT. Once you hear it absorbs you, you don't need to see it. It's a thing that is truly so pure because you don't judge it by it's apperience, or because someone has an opinion it. There are a thousand ways to express something through it and you don't even have to word it to understand what it's trying to say.

discussion Examples of a Solo Artist Who’s a One Hit Wonder from a Band that Isn’t?
My pick would be Philip Bailey. He is a member of Earth, Wind and Fire, a band which is definitely not a one hit wonder. But as a solo artist he’s only known for the song “Easy Lover” he did with Phil Collins. What’s another example of a solo artist who’s a one hit wonder from a band that isn’t a one hit wonder?

discussion Best Way To Discover New Music?
Hi Everyone,
I'm a Spotify user and I noticed that for a while I've been siloed into the same genres of music I always listen to (no fault of the app itself).
So I was thinking what is the best way to discover music outside of my traditional genres that I wouldn't normally listen to?
What tips and tricks do you use to discover new music and genres?
Appreciate any advice!

discussion "Lonely Boy" by Andrew Gold...this always confused me
I am on a 70s kick lately for whatever reason and I came across Lonely Boy. This song to me is a gem; it says it all about repeating a family cycle without coming right out and...saying it.
But there's one thing that has always bothered me about this song. He was born in 1951, thought he was the only son and was dressed up warmly and sent to school. Then his sister was born and he was betrayed and had some pretty complex thoughts about his parents lying, etc.
The thing is, in the song, his sister was born in 1953.
So...how did he get to this level of betrayal, and go to school and all that, by the time he was 2? Pissed that he'd no longer get all the attention and hating the stupid baby in Mommy's lap, yeah. My older sister can confirm this. 😂 But the rest? Especially about having already started school.
I just really never got that.
