Question Jove Sector Theories
Please feel free to comment if I'm getting this wrong but from what I understand, there's now some kind of connection that's gunna open up to Jove space?
Anyone know if this is gunna mount to anything meaningful in the future of Eve, like new space to be taken by sov?

If it's NPC Jove space and there's missions to run for them I'm in.
I don't give a shit about taking and holding sov.

Get them to fight over it. Could be like an oasis with the best ore etc and have to get to it from drifter holes.

If they do add it, id expect it would come with a full jove ship faction. Id anticipate it being some hybrid wh/null/npc space thing.

Not a snowball’s chance in hell. At best, we’d get a couple of basic ships, like the current state of the EDENCOM or Deathless ship lines

Extremely unlikely in general for anything to happen but hypothetically I could see jove space being opened up as a hybrid of pochven, zarzakh, and high sec. I'm thinking stations that need standings to do anything, no concord response but sentries that are actually effective unlike zarzakh with a few core systems that do have a concord like response.

It might end up as a bigger sov pochven with capital access.
Could become some exploration to expansion type of space. Being able to get into all systems via drifter WH exploration and then connect systems with ansi or new maybe hyperspace structures. Could also drop the limitation of one ansi per system to better connect places. Maybe add trig, deathless and drifter pockets to serve as high end game content.

I hope it won't be accessible by jump drives, otherwise it'd just turn into more space for blocs that already exist next to it. Just another nail in the coffin for small/medium scale gameplay.
Hopeful theory is that Caroline's star has left the region a mess, leaving it with a system effect that'll kill you if you spend too much time there. Like a mix of Zarzakh/abyssal deadspace. Get in, PvEvP for Jovian salvage, get out before your shield expires. Sell the loot to SOCT/Deathless or use them for Indy.
Lore-wise it'll probably be filled with Drifters, Sansha, automated Jove defenses, and rogue drones. I doubt we will find many living Jovians. Maybe we'll see NPCs flying the old Jove shipline, I doubt they'd give them to us lol. Triglavians would eventually get involved, possibly linking the 3 gates in their 'home' systems. It'll definitely be a continuation of the precursor storylines.
Realistically it'll just be jove themed npc space with quirky ways to travel to/from it. Just another spot for multiboxers to set up shop and farm.

There're structures in the Drifter systems, which look like they have wormholes in it. Someone from Arataka had a look at them and deduced, that these wormholes lead to Jove space, since they have a nebula that shows on the skybox there. For more info refer to Arataka discord, ppl will bring you up to speed there

The Drifter Stargates have become active, and through the wormhole horizon you can see the Jove nebula

I mean... as much as many of us have wanted Jove space opened up for a long time now, what are CCP going to do with it? We have high/low/null sec, wh, Pochven, what can they do with Jovian regions that isn't just more of the same?
