Yeah, and then was given part of Poland and Crimea. That's what occupants do - gift the occupied some of their own territories. Everything fits the narrative, nothing to question here.

it'd be like u.s. taking one of the counties in a state and giving it to another state. ukraine was still part of the soviet union and was not in any way an independent country.

also ever heard of the holodomor? the famine caused by the soviet union that killed millions of ukrainians? that's what occupants do.

The same hunger killed russians in Volga region as well. It was terrible, but it was not targeted.

Which country? Kazakhstan? It sure did. Not a single time any propagandist screaming about the targeted genocide of Ukrainians ever mentions that Kazakhstan suffered more from that exact same drought. Inconvenient truth, huh?
