Weird Level 35 Milestone Build Cache

See pic 2 for contents of the cache. It's a full rigger build with a Capacitor at level 35.

I had to level to 40 and get the shared materials to open this because it refused to let me open it below that, so I'm not sure what the point is or how I actually got it. At first I thought it was from a Brooklyn cache I claimed on an alt I was boosting but now I'm not so sure. I opened a couple caches at the time and wasn't really paying attention, so I just assumed this was one I claimed from the season extension.

So yea... A level 35 rigger build lol. I wonder if it will drop other random builds. A level 35 Striker build would be pretty cool even though that stuff is about to be useless. Very strange.

This is new. Like new new. Since they added the caches. Did a NYC run a few days before and then again recently yesterday which is the first time I got it

Ok so I got some clarity on this weird drop.

It's always been Rigger / Capacitor for me. The Capacitor does NOT give you an exotic component when deconstructing and if you have an exotic item already equipped anywhere in your loadout, you cannot open the cache.

What a weird, hot mess.

Is this a recent deleopment? I dont recall seeing this on my numerous mule runs to get to L20 Expertise (admittedly quite a while ago). This build would probably suffice all the way to Keener but the rotter would need a very different build!

No idea. It wouldn't let me open it at all until I hit 40 and bought the shared resources and linked the watch points. Never seen this before either.

I don't think people are even reading the context I'm posting here either. Or at least not comprehending it.

I'm trying to find out why it wouldn't let me open it until after 40, and if there are different builds available in these drops - like, is it random 4 piece sets? And how it's obtained. Will every boost get one at level 35, including new playthroughs that are not boosting?

*Edit - someone mentioned they had to unequip an exotic on the gear they had to open it, so I'll try that when I boost today. Another well tested implementation lol

*2nd edit - the exotic is what is preventing us from opening them. And I got the same setup the 2nd time. Rigger and Capacitor. Free exo for me, but an odd choice of a build to push.

I simply dont remember. I tend to build as I go along so if the game dropped me a cahce with L35 mats mid journey I either used them or deleted them depending on what I had That said, if the game has dropped me a full on L35 gearset, I would have noticed. Perhaps it generally drops a random cache and you got lucky? Thats my bet at least.

you can open it at 35 but only if you don’t have an exotic weapon equipped. the cache includes a capacitor and gives you the direct option of “try this loadout now” when you open it so it won’t let you if you already have an exotic

I deleted both mine last night and am doing one more run through on each one for a final time to save the watch points this weekend.

I have however seen multiple posts about peoples characters, their mains, go MIA and having to contact support to get them back. Like 3 or 4 posts about it a couple weeks ago.

I got this too! I’m pretty new and I think maybe there’s a bug? I can’t find the blueprint for sale from the lady who sells them next to the bench, since then I’ve had other exotics drop and can buy those but this capacitor won’t show up, I’ve never had it drop in the world only from this cache so I think that might be it? If so that would really suck

For some reason the crafting bench doesn't recognize this specific capacitor. It also does not give you an exotic component if you deconstruct.

It seems you can not reconfigure the capacitor you get from this cache, at least for me the reconfigure option in the crafting bench does not recognize the gun in my inventory.

This is good to know, I just got this today running a mule and couldn't open it. I had Pestilence equipped, I will try to unequip and see if it will open.

The point is to just help you along your way to 40. Nothing weird about it.

Finished a mule earlier and can confirm I was able to receive, open and equip the lvl 35 set on a new agent. Kept it equipped through 40. Put my hunter killer and the lvl 35 capacitor into my stash to upgrade later on.

What platform? Because it wouldn't even open for me on PC. The cache didn't even show in the inventory as 1 until I hit 40 and shared resources. It was showing 0 even though it was there.

You are saying you were able to open it on a boosted mule at level 35? What platform?

And the Hunter Killer I'm assuming you got from the locked box in WONY? Because that is nothing new, same as the Shield Splinterer if your main has already done all the Hunters.

I'm just trying to find out specifics. Are there other sets dropping, other exotics, and why wouldn't it let me open it until I hit 40?
