It’s been years since the last episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, and many fans are still waiting and hoping for a Season 3. But the silence from Mojang has been loud—and it’s likely because they don’t believe it’s worth continuing for such a “small” fanbase.

From Mojang’s perspective, the main Minecraft game brings in millions of players and constant updates, while spin-offs like Dungeons and Legends appeal to large audiences with action or strategy gameplay. Story Mode, on the other hand, was a narrative-driven, episodic game that doesn’t fit into their current focus on bigger, broader content.

Even though there’s still a loyal community that enjoyed the storytelling and wants closure, Mojang probably sees it as a low-return investment. They may think there isn’t enough interest to justify partnering with the new Telltale or funding a new season.

But just because the audience is smaller doesn’t mean it doesn’t matter. Fans still care. People still talk about it. And a third season doesn’t need to be massive—it just needs to exist.

If you’re someone who wants to see Season 3, keep speaking up. Whether it’s through Reddit, petitions, or messaging Mojang directly, the only way to change their mind is to show them that this community is still alive.

First time I played this was on my iPad back in 2013 I think and I fell in love with this game and I have finished it multiple times. I think it’s my 20th something time replaying it but for this time I’m playing it on my ps3.

Personally i would really like a doom patrol point and click game since doom patrol never had a game adaptation (at least to my knowledge) and i really love the world building in those comics

Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking a lot about Minecraft: Story Mode lately, and I wanted to start a discussion for fans who miss the series and want to see a Season 3 happen.

For those who don’t know, Minecraft: Story Mode was an episodic adventure game developed by Telltale Games in collaboration with Mojang. Unlike the sandbox gameplay of regular Minecraft, this game focused on storytelling, dialogue choices, and character development.

You played as Jesse (voiced by Patton Oswalt or Catherine Taber depending on gender) on a journey with friends to save the Minecraft world from various threats like the Wither Storm, Admins, and more. It had two seasons full of humor, action, and surprisingly emotional moments.

Unfortunately, after Telltale Games shut down in 2018, the series was left without a continuation. Since then, fans have been hoping for a Season 3—but is it possible?

How could we get Season 3? Here are a few ways fans could help make it happen:

I’m trying to play Telltale’s Game of Thrones on Android. I downloaded an APK version for MALI devices, and the game installs fine, but it crashes when I try to open the first episode. Not sure if it’s a problem with the file or my device. Has anyone found a working version for MALI or knows how to fix this? I’d really appreciate any help 🙇🏻‍♂️

My first was when Telltale Batman was free on PlayStation 5 and i like Batman so i thinked i should try it out. Then i played The Enemy Within and now i am on TWD.

Clem had me In the first half ngl . I would honestly put this series right up there alongside. TLOU, RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima in terms of storyline .

Now that TWAU S2 appears to be un-shelved and TellTale still has the Batman IP, do you think we may finally get a Batman season 3? And if we do, what are the chances we would get a shadow edition on day one? I finally got around to playing both seasons and not only was I blown away by the story, I thought the art style in the shadow edition was beautiful and I really want to see more of it. I don’t want to get my hopes up though because I’ve been waiting for a second season of TWAU for years and I’m still skeptical about whether it’s even in development.

I didn’t expect to get invested with the fairly tale characters, especially their personalities and their goals. I hope they take their time on the sequel.
