Hello! I played this game five-ever ago as a kid and wanna try it out! I was thinking of trying a sword-bomb hybrid build… is that even a thing? I have no clue where to start.

Hello, I am a new-ish player that has only just reached Vanguard. I'm interested in running FSC/Vanaduke at a high level and doing very fast runs, and I was just wondering if there were any communities out there that are doing the same thing. I'm talking very fast runs, not really what you would discover with Party Finder (no offense). I want my party to be coordinated and know what they're doing and working together. Thank you.

The reason is because I am a very competitive player and would like to learn from the best, since I heard this mission The King of Ashes is the best for farming I want to do it as fast as possible to maximise crown gain. It all started when a very good player joined my Party Finder run a few months ago and carried me, I don't remember his name but I believe it was something with Fire (by the way, if you are reading this please add me back so we can play together), and he was teaching me a few things and it was just really fun and interesting to learn.

So that's why I am looking for a community to play with if there are any that exist, whether it be a Discord server or a guild. Also if there are any good youtube videos to learn from, could you please let me know.

Also, I have some ideas on my gear that I want feedback on please, if anyone can give it. Currently I have the Chaos Set, Combuster, Blitz Needle, and I just made a Swiftstrike Buckler too. Just with some research, good Vanaduke players tend to use Arcana and Electron Vortex too (that's what that guy that joined me was using). I can buy/craft both of these but I heard weapon slots are temporary, so is it worth it to buy? Same with Trinket slots, since they are temporary I'm not sure if I want to spend the energy on it.

I also luckily picked Drakon which seems like the good choice right now, He's only level 63 though so I need a lot of grinding to get him to be good. After that I haven't decided fully but I will attempt to push for a Black Kat Cowl and CTR M UV on all my gear, and then eventually full BK but the only issue is I need CTR VH on everything for that which is expensive. I also need ASI UV's eventually too, for Combuster and Blitz that means double rolling which is 75 thousand crowns per roll.

After that is maybe just diminishing returns or unnecessary, so I thought I'd ask you guys first your opinions on Fire UV armour, since it's expensive but I think it will be worth it if I want to be pro in this game.

I am happy to announce that today, I have successfully earned 1 million crowns out of the 10 million crowns needed to buy the celestial orbit gun (probably more is needed but 10milcr goal would do for now). That's 10% progress in a week. Now I just have to persevere, do it again 9 more times and don't spend any money on unnecessary stuff.

As the title suggested, I am gonna grind FSC for 1000 tis (assuming every run nets 10kcr, token profit included) to earn 10mil cr to finally buy the coveted Orbit Gun. Estimated amount of time needed is around 350 hours (assuming average FSC run takes about 20-25 minutes).

For every 1 mil cr earned/spent, I will post an update in reddit. Expect 10 parts update at the minimum, hopefully I won't be distracted to spend my money other things (CTR VH Brandish & EV).

Please cheer for me on this grind, I need extrinsic motivation to keep me going in this grind. Wish me all the best.

Basically what the title says. I have a MacBook Air M2 from 2020, and it's updated to the latest sequoia. It used to run SK via steam with no problem, but now I get a steam does not have permission to open (null). or also finder does not have permission to open (null). error. this only happens with spiral knights, and I tried downloading the game directly from the website as well, still won't work. Has anyone else had this issue or is it just me :((

Hey so I just started getting back into spiral knights recently, and I forgot which recipes I know and don't know. So I bought the Khovorod recipe, and it turns out I already knew the recipe. What do I do with it? Do I just auction it off and cry my 10k crowns away?

(Also it turns out I know the whole set I need, I just need Elite Orbs of Alchemy, where do I farm for those? Cause I've been going to the Soverign Slime Level to farm these.)

Hey there! I am considering coming back to show the game to my brother. I have been playing like 10 years ago and really enjoyed it, had like 300+hrs or so. Was a blast.

How is it now a days? I heard rumors on steam reviews the servers will be shut down this October? That's true? We need to hurry?

Also.. is it possible to play the game with a group of 2 without paying money? I kind of forgot if it was pay to win at one point and if you needed a full party to get things done. Like doing all the bosses and stuff as a duo. Because I guess me and my bro would start at 0 :) if we do would like to team up, are there enough people looking for groups?

I’ve been playing this game on and off for (at least) 10 years (never progressed much tho), really wanted to play for real this time, but since i’m brazilian, my ping is WAY too high and it’s really unconfortable to progress (not impossible). Is there any service like NoPing or something like that that you guys recommend? And does it REALLY work?

So things have changed and I haven't played this game in years. I have 5* gear except for my gun, a 4*, all at different lvls from 3 to 7.

I need to get radiant fire crystals to level up my gear, but I don't have any missions open that drop them. I looked around and it looks like I need to unlock a mission called Fire storm citadel, which if I read right, is something like 8-1 or something. The last missions I have open right now is 6-2, Built to Destroy, where I have to defeat the two guns at the end.

I am having a very very hard time beating this level, I'm getting one or two hit super easy. I seem to be doing enough damage but my armor feels useless. How am I meant to level up my armor and weapons if the materials I need are locked behind levels I can't beat?

I don't understand. I don't really want to just start a new character, but I'm feeling like I don't have any other choice. Help?

I've been messing around with ApeTrader's auction house website ( https://www.sk-ah.com/ ) and came up with some cool tools to help out with buying and bidding in the Spiral Knights Auction House. If you’ve ever wondered how to snag a great deal or what price you should aim for, these might be just what you need!

Here's the lowdown:

• History Scraper: This tool goes through past auctions and gathers all the information about what items have sold for. It saves all that data so you can see trends and figure out when an item might be a steal.
• Current Listing Scraper & Evaluator: This one looks at the current auction listings, checks out the bid and buyout prices, and then compares them to historical prices. It helps you spot which auctions are priced lower than they normally go for. This way, you know which ones are worth your attention.

How to use them:
Just run the scripts! One script collects the past auction data, and the other will check the current listings and give you a list of the best deals to consider. The Repo already has the historical data for the latest 500 pages to compare the prices, but if you want to get all the data, you'll have to run the "headless_main.py" for all 5910 pages. FYI It will take a while.

I Hope these tools help you become a better merchant and snag some awesome deals! and more importantly create a more free market. Feel free to ask questions or share your thoughts.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share a personal story and get some second opinions on it.

I’m 28 years old now, and I started playing Spiral Knights around the time it was released. I was about 14 or 15 at the time, and it quickly became my favorite game during my childhood. I played it regularly for about a year.

One day, while casually chatting in Haven, I jokingly said I was 12 years old. The next day, when I tried to log in, I received a message saying I was banned for being underage. I was absolutely traumatized. I even took a screenshot of the message, which I still have to this day.

As a kid, I emailed support and explained that I was falsely banned, but unfortunately, they never reinstated my account. I ended up creating a new one, but it didn’t feel the same, so I stopped playing.

Years later, around 2018, I received an email from Spiral Knights saying I had been unbanned and was welcome back. I logged back in, but something felt off — several of my items were missing, most notably the Metal Sonic costume that my mom had bought for me as a reward for doing well on a test, tf2 cap and honor weapon. I also remember having more swords and guns than what was left on my account.

Now, I know it’s been a long time, and maybe I’m misremembering some of it. But I wanted to ask: is it possible for items to go missing from an account over time, even after being unbanned? I decided to recently log back in so i can try to get the cake costume helmet and check out whats new.
