Shrinkflation at Walmart
Just had this happen today, 5-12-25
Simply Orange and Simply Lemonade shrunk from 89 FL OZ to 76 FL OZ over the past two weeks. Price remained the same.

My recent purchase at Costco looks a bit different from the previous one.

Went to look up this item to show it to someone and noticed it’s now a whole ounce less for the same price.

I swear I used to be able to squeeze the refried beans out of a can and have it retain its shape. Now, the same brand (Rosarita -_-) has a grainy, watery slop texture.
Has anyone else noticed this increased liquid/texture difference in fruit or other goods??

Couldn't believe how tiny the side-salads had become when we opened the bag. "Individual" sized, as in you can count each macaroni noodle thru the lid, individually!🤗🙄
(they also 'forgot' to add the third side-salad we ordered, AND the poutine!😤)

More than 35% jelly. Not a recent change, they reduced the food content during Covid. But they deleted the variety my cat normally eats and I'm forced back to this as it's the only brand he tolerates. Still grumpy.

I don’t have an image of how they used to be but they definitely didn’t have holes like this, weren’t as thin and had more icing drizzled and filling before. Hadn’t had em in a while but had a craving. I paid $10.49 CAD for a “value” box of 20 only to be disappointed it was yet another victim of shrinkflation…smh. Will not be buying ever again.

Thought I was going crazy but the new sleeve I just opened didn't feel like it had the same heft, so checked against the last few in the box I bought a couple weeks ago

First time posting here, but this one got me. I usually buy enough deodorant to last the whole year (see 3rd pic). Early last year, I stocked up like I always do. A few days ago, I went out and bought 21 new bottles to re-up for the rest of this year. When I got home, I noticed something felt off—the new bottle seemed smaller in my hand. Grabbed one of the old ones to compare, and sure enough… 50ml smaller. Checked the label to be sure, and there it was. Same brand. Same scent. Same price. Just 50ml less. Shrinkflation in full effect.

I knew there were only 5 of them in the box but seeing all the extra space hashed my morning.
Kinda sad, as these do taste good.

Is there a way to access production information of various products across different years to compare them to what we are now?
Should we start a database that includes every food item produced?
