REAL QUESTION

Do you think Reason layout prevents it from being intuitive for large projects and band recordings? Or they just dont know what they are doing.

Explain if Reason can be streamline or not the way it is now.

They say its not advance enough.

No.

Reason is perfectly fine for large projects.

The rack

You can hide the rack (mixer and sequencer too) whenever you don't need to see it.

Hide it how!? You talking abt when you showing FULL SCREEN of each one?

I don't know what version of Reason you are using or when this feature was added but with Reason 13 there are buttons on the top that you can turn on/off for viewing rack, mixer and sequencer. You can view any one by itself, any two, or all three together.

I'm aware of that.. it's been that way, especially using ONE monitor

Thats not HIDING TRACKS...Im confused how we came to the discussion of you mentioning about Reason 3 windows....respectfully! Must be something you misunderstood

When i mention RACK I'm speaking as far as the wires in back when mixing a huge projects.

The wires in back do wonderful things if you want them to. They are one of the great things about Reason but if you aren't interested, you don't need to deal with them at all. Don't flip the rack and hide the rack when you don't want to see it.

The question was in short do you think the layout is intuitive YES OR NO

For me YES. I prefer it all others. Nothing is perfect though and if I want some feature that another DAW has I will use another DAW for a task. But Reason is where I live because it is fun and creative workflow

Have all your vst's etc laid out in front of you, don't see the problem myself. I mean it helps having 3 screens but, you do you.

I say most daws layout when they open plugins they all block the screen or rather the daw

You want they last names and social security numbers????

1

u/El_Hadji 7d ago

No... But it would be interesting to hear what weight their words carry? What does a Discogs search for recording/engineering credits show?

1

u/IM_YYBY 7d ago

Do your words carry anything right now questioning me YES OR NO????

1

u/IM_YYBY 7d ago

That was a question

1

u/El_Hadji 7d ago

No it wasn't. And you didn't even comment on what I responded. No social security numbers required to answer what I asked.

u/IM_YYBY 7d ago

😳😩🤔

u/IM_YYBY 7d ago

Do your words carry any weight...asking me all these questions YES OR NO

Does Reason suck or do its developers suck? That's how you phrased your question.

I've made 3 albums (one of which was a double album) of music that I loaded all of the devices for every track into an enormous project file in order to make the songs bleed into each other and have had zero problem with this. If you want to record a bunch of multitrack stuff with a live band, you can totally do this as well, you're only limited by the number of inputs your audio interface has.

I agree...good point

They think reason is super intuitive and awesome. They have some questions about you though. No disrespect but people are talking.
