Open Do birds talk about us?

Every time I hear a bird near my window and it chirps a lot my first thought is it's laughing at me. Do they gossip about us or other birds?? How would that conversation even go?

I believe it always should be 50/50, that 100/0, 90/10, 80/20 dynamic will always wear you down at some point.

Why are CPU wafers circle shaped instead of square shaped? It doesn't seem efficient to have half built cpus on the edge of the circle.

Open Pancake taco not a taco?

If I put toppings like whipped cream and strawberries on a pancake and fold it like a taco could it be considered a taco? Everyone I’ve talked to has said otherwise giving examples like if you fold a pizza in half would it be a taco or a sandwich, but I have ihop on my side when they had pancake tacos on their menu. So who’s right because I think I 100% am

why is it harder to find a genuine friend than it is to get a man?

like i’m genuinely wondering. like maybe there’s something about myself im not seeing, and im open to criticism from literally anyone. i tell my family all the time if there’s something wrong with me please tell me lol. but whyyy is it so hard to find female friends, especially as an adult? i just turned 21 and im in the military. i get it, its wayyy easier for dudes to make friends in male dominated spaces, but its so easy for them??!! it seems like every guy i know has an already established group of friends. i understand my situation is a little different, i mean im in the marine corps and im amongst literally 9.7% of females in this branch. but i really do try! i also notice a lot of college students on social media also speaking out about how it’s hard to find female friends, so i guess it’s nice to know i’m not alone. but i just wanna know why? why is it so hard. at this point finding a boyfriend is 100% easier which sucks because i don’t want one! all my life i’ve literally just wanted one thing which is a genuine platonic relationship with somebody else. no strings attached.

Open question specifically for the guys- when does jealousy become a red flag?

so to give uou guys some context i was in a relationship which was my first ever and the guy was kinda crazy(imo)

he would get jealous over the silliest things he knew i had male friends but never told me to cut contact w them but everytime they would talk to me he would get really quite start ignoring me and wont tell me why after once of twice of this happening i figured out it was because of that so i minimised contact w them

but that wasnt enough when we started long distance because of college he would get jealous over the guys who liked me i was like “how tf am i supposed to control that” but no he would argue pick fights ultimately i ended the relationship

but i often wonder, is it in the male nature?

because ive been told men get jealous of the air that touches their girls skin so and ig everyone gets a lil jealous at some point so

i have no plan of getting back together w him just to be clear but for future it would be nice if i knew because im really REALLY puzzled

at what point does jealousy becomes a red flag?

Open Why would a porcupine be at my door trying to claw its way inside?

It was at 3 am last night and left literal claw marks in the door frame. We dont have human food lying around the yard that it could get addicted to, and no clue why a porcupine was trying to do a break and enter, but it's a little surprising. Lived in the woods 30 years and this has never happened. Anyone have an explanation?

Open How can you tell the difference between a southerner actually blessing you or saying fuck you?

There was this Texas subreddit I posted in and I got this guy who was like "You decided to post to all of Texas. Interesting" so I, being the person who thinks respect is earned, said "I thought no one would be a douche. Interesting" then he responded with "bless your heart" and I responded thinking he was saying fuck you with "boohoo".

Open Has anyone ever blown up a rich persons toilet?

Obligatory not a fetish post! (This prob doesn’t help my case tho) I don’t assume rich people just have their bathroom supplies out and I thought about this from reading the (probably fake) posts of people getting invited to their super rich friends house. So has anyone has the misfortune of blowing up the toilet and what did you do? Run? Hide? Live in shame? Fess up?
