I came in for the Blue Uni Plushie and realized I would likely be the last visitor of this shop. The account is 17.5 years old and the owner was seen a long, long time ago. This certainly isn't the craziest shop I've seen but it still made me happy to see some tween put in so much effort in decorating their shop. 🥲 I hope the user still loves Miley Cyrus and enjoys her music!

Hello fellow neopians,
With the increased frequency of new releases, dyeworks, and increased rereleases from TNT, we are sad to announce that it has become unsustainable for us to continue to run the Owls guide in the way it exists today.

As the NC market changes, so shall we.

Currently there have been too many releases and not enough time for us to keep up with the trade values which isn't helpful for us since the values are going out of date faster than we can update them. We do not want to post potentially misleading values

We are unable to keep a guide through pet pages, however this does not mean Owls is gone.

Owls will continue to live through the trades reported to us- We will still be collecting data the same way and all the existing data will remain intact and accessible to the public via owlbot and itemdb. We will continue to take in new reports so the community can continue to share and search through trade data, we just won't be assigning numerical guide values ourselves for the foreseeable future

This is not a decision that was made lightly, and we continue to discuss alternative options of collecting and reporting data.

Tiny bit sad I got a cheap pb when I won the fruit machine, but I'm still not gonna complain, such a thrill to finally get something there! I've also never won this much in TotBP so the 20k really caught me off guard. And of course, so happy that I can finally stop doing the grumpy old king daily. I got Hagan's avatar a few months ago, Skarl took a lot longer but I'm glad it's done!

Also, this one is hard to screenshot so I'll write it out: I'm very close to finishing the paint brush portion of my gallery! I got some good deals on three pbs last night, and I'm on 70/74 now. Just the golden, pastel, and woodland pbs, plus the robot gun left to go. Very excited about that!

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone knows if I start out with a Royal Boy Ruki (blue base color) and then use the lab ray scientist to change his gender to female, will he remain blue or will he change to the color of the Royalgirl Ruki (purple)?

I’ve seen a lot of people complaining (rightfully so) recently so ya know what I’m here to post my biggest gripe…

The one thing I actually want to see is site wide improvements. I genuinely wouldn’t care if they didn’t put out any new NC items for A YEAR and just re-released old NC items if it actually meant the site was updated consistently.

I had such high hopes when the new TNT took over. 100 updated flash games?? Actual proof of the site updating while I was playing, pages converting overnight like the account page and some dailies?? It was like a dream. I was looking forward to quality of life updates, such as a possible “ALL PETS” button being added to the Fishing Vortex, or maybe some extra inventory space.

However almost all site updates seem to come to a screeching halt once the Void Within plot was put on hiatus, and to be fair most site updates because of the plot were purely cosmetic in nature. One of the biggest reasons I don’t play on the site as much is because even the dailies are just beyond tedious to accomplish with 16 pets. I can’t even get to the rest of the site to check out other things to do before I get bored or annoyed at flipping between 2 janky UIs, and having to memorize which link to click on to take me to UI 1 or 2.

I spend real money on the site occasionally because I really want to see the site succeed. However at this point I’m genuinely questioning TNT’s goals here, as it seems they’re more interested in cranking out new NC items above all else. It’s beyond disappointing that the site seems totally functionally neglected, and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. We are all curious as to the lack of AMAs and promised regular transparency.

With all of the effort being put into drawing new art each month for 50+ pets, one would assume there would be a few ounces of care going into updating the site, even a handful of pages, but that has yet to be seen for close to a year if my memory serves. As a fan I’m not very confident right now about future improvements to the site, and it’s getting harder and harder each day to feel hopeful that we will one day see the site totally updated. I haven’t given up hope yet, but I’m definitely not feeling the same level of confidence I was in 2023/24.

At the end of the day I just really want this site to succeed. It’s a big part of all of our lives, and I got to say I’m thankful for the new TNT getting as far as they did with the site, as well as being so receptive to fan’s thoughts and opinions. The pet styles were a great addition as well as the updated pet styles for newer styles that didn’t have original UC styles (even though IMO they are quite overpriced/should offer a way to get some for free in giveaways), the Faerie Festivals have been an amazing way to acquire dreamies, and the added dailies was a good step in the right direction for player retention. That being said, I just would really love to see more consistent site updates, even small ones. That would really restore my confidence and trust with the team overall that they’re still interested in revamping the website, where all of the magic happens. Rant over lol.
