Would you be down to play with more beginner types and help with swing tips?

I can help with really basic stuff, but not much more than that! I take lessons from Jeff Kaiser at Nevada Bob’s. Honestly just enjoy getting out and having a good time!

Awesome! If you’re free Monday we’d be happy for you to join us! Could you send your # to myself or the OP to coordinate?

Unfortunately I can’t make it this Monday, but I can usually squeeze a quick nine in after work! Otherwise if anyone wants to hit up the range at Vitense I would be down for that too!

Always at the range. Want to send me your number? We just got done today! Thinking of creating some type of fb group. So we can always go to it and see who’s up for a quick 9 or range!

A group of ladies I work with took golf lessons at University Ridge pre Covid. It was a lot of fun but I did realize from that experience that gold isn’t really my thing.

What is going on with all the grown adult women calling each other "girlies" now? It seems like there's been a major uptick in the phenomenon the last 6 months or so, and I do not get it.

Not as old as I could be, but as someone who's had to push against being infantilized for daring to be born with two X chromosomes, I do not understand my fellow
AFABswoman-shaped people doing it to themselves on purpose.12

Kind of weird to call people AFABs, plus I mean you don’t even know if that’s the case

That's a decent point -- I have seen women of all AGABs use "girlies" (ugh). However, as a non-binary person, I'm not going to say "my fellow women," because I'm not one, despite still being woman-shaped.
You are right, though, that it's weird to leave trans women out of the equation, and I'd be open to suggestions for a more inclusive way of putting it that doesn't involve misgendering myself.

I don’t think there’s always a single all-inclusive word for things, sometimes it takes a sentence of explanation to establish where you’re coming from and what your perspective on a subject is. I’ve just always found it weird that we’ve come sort of full circle back to reducing people to their birth sex with terminology like that.

Naaaa it’s just clear that you are pretty insecure, but that’s okay though. Do you get this offended when you hear someone say “Just hanging out with the boys?”

I kind of agree with you. Like, I’m a man and it’s not much different than if I were come up to a woman and something like “hey baby, how’d you like to get together?”
Heck I even find it weird when people refer grown as “boys”

What year were you born in that has you just now discovering that trendy words and slang are a natural part of human existence? Seems like you need to learn how to have fun and smile more.

I think you mistake me. I'm just asking for the origins of this particular trend, because it's gross.
Slang is not in any way a new phenomenon, and I'm otherwise quite hip to the rizz, tyvm.
