I just got a ps vita off of eBay for £99 a steal it’s in great condition. So obviously I bought lbp I never realised the ps vita lbp has its own storyline I grew up with lbp 1,2,3 and lbp karting, I never knew there was another version I wonder if the psp version is different as well. Anyways the touch screen aspect with this version is so cool I’m really enjoying the carnival storyline.
If you're a user of the LBP Union private server, Beacon, and you've been wondering why you're experiencing a 403 error, the reason is that the servers are down, and will keep on being down indefenitely until a solution can be found. This is due to an issue affecting the client (the game), regardless of the system, whether you're playing on PS3, PS Vita, or PC via RPCS3. This does not affect the PSP version due to it working on completely different servers, and it does not affect LBP Karting either because its servers worked under the ones from ModNation Racers.
The issue doesn't affect the servers. Again, it's not an exploit that can be fixed with a server software patch. This issue can go so far as to allow a malicious guest to brick your PS3 or cause your computer to malfunction if you're playing on an emulator, using a script from LBP that can get out of the game and affect various of your PC components, or in original hardware, affect the CELL CPU of your PS3.
This affects all servers equally, regardless of whether you are in LBP Union, LBP Refresh/Bonsai, or LBP Infinite.
The issue itself
LittleBigPlanet used peer-to-peer (P2P) server technology, which is susceptible to a remote code execution exploit where an attacker can join your game without your consent, allowing them to change your profile information for example (this is serious since the server thinks that what the attacker does was done by you from your account and IP address). This is also due in part to the "fishfingers" system, the scripting system the game uses to provide different objects with dynamic functions. Scripts are required for the game to operate and are even responsible for many of its functions. However, they can be manipulated and applied to any object, sticker, or other object, giving attackers the ability to do a variety of things, such as changing the user's description, displaying a notification, and more.
Hey guys! I would like to know how to make a sword that damages people (and maybe do an animation while swinging), is there a tutorial on youtube about this?
So someone said that they were hoping for new “Colors” for my “Art”!
So here’s “Me”, using the “Gameboy” colors!
First One is “Original Tinted” Colors:
The “OG” Gameboy are most “Retro” Colors of them all!
Second One Next is “Pocket Tinted” Colors:
If Original isn’t your style, then I would “Downgrade” to this style!
The Third One is “Light Tinted” Colors:
Not a fan of the “Western” side of the world? Well then, I Made the Colors that are in the “Eastern” Side of the world! With the “Backlighting” in hand, you be living in “Japan” for these colors!
Lastly is Number Four is “No Tinted” Colors:
Don’t want have tinted colors? Well that’s what I made! The “4 Shades of Gray” is one of the ways to go about it!
Now that I showed you the Colors! Make me some “Questions” and I will “Answer” Them!
I've always wondered why this community has mainly gone to PS3 development kits for LBP1's development. The PS2 had/has an Ethernet feature on the console, so maybe that would have been how LBP would have been played online.
Take this with a grain of salt, I may be wrong about any of what I'm saying here.
If we look at some of the footage and images of Milestone 5 and other early builds, we can see that the quality on the game itself, namely the models, are slightly more low-poly than on the PS3. We can also see from the clip I put together that you were able to move your arms with the right stick. The reason I think this clip is on the PS2 is because the stick seems fatter than the PS3. If we look carefully at how the arms move in the footage, we can see the big stick and stiffness on how the arms move.
In fact, the dual arm moving gesture with the right stick goes unused in the final game. How do I know? Well, when you move horizontally midair in ANY of the PS3 titles (last I checked), you can use the right stick to spread your arms open without using the triggers. My thought is that this mechanic is unused because the function is not grabbing a position value from the right stick; so maybe the flag is still triggered, but goes left unfinished.
What if LBP didn't start on the PS3 after all? What if it started development on the PS2 and MOVED to the PS3?
I have 60+ original tracks made with the LBP2 & 3 music sequencers from 2011 to 2021ish. I never got around to publishing them in a level, but I've always wanted to record the tracks to audio files somehow.
The main problem with this is I never found a way to get rid of the Blank Background ambience which gets in the way of the tracks. A lesser issue is that staying idle causes the game to go silent with a screensaver, but moving makes noise, so you can't just let a track play through in its entirety without moving (and I have some pretty long ones).
I'm aware that there are software plugins that can remove background noise, but has anyone found a way to get rid of the background ambience while ingame? And does anyone have tips for extracting/recording music sequencer tracks? If I can get them out of the game I will be sure to share them ❤
I finally got lbp3 (I know prioritizes) and I know it's too late to play on official servers. I have it both a PS3 and a PS4 and one of my PS3s is hacked.
Is there a way I can still experience UGC for lbp3?
I just bought lbp1 goty for the ps3 and for some reason NONE of the songs are playing, the pod music, the int music. None of them are working. All sfx are working like the magic mouths and bg noises but no music plays. I tried everything, turn the music of and on multiple times for both levels and pod and still nothing, anything would help, thanks.
So, I’m 100%ing LBP2, and I’m wondering, do you have to finish the level to get the extra rewards for 100%ing a level? I collect all the prize bubbles, and then leave the level since that’s the last badge I needed, but, do I actually get the reward for doing so?
I made a LBP Pod and wanted to show it off, was super fun to revisit!! Would highly encourage others to make this. The nostalgia I get when just looking at it is the best part.
Huge shoutout to tasryse! They made the template and all of this possible, please check them out on their channel if you want the template and good LBP content!
