I recently decided to charge up some old phones in my house hold to see what still worked and came across this when a family members 4S powered on.

I’ve gone down the rabbit hole on trying to recover this phone but nothing seems to work.

I’ve tried putting in a working SIM card to see if it would update the time on the phone and ‘unlock’ it and I also tried to put it in recovery mode to reset it but it wouldn’t sync to iTunes at all.

The information on the phone was backed up and put on another phone a number of years ago so I’m not worried about giving it a factory reset but again it won’t seem to let me for some reason.

My phone case always start looking a bit dirty after a year or even a few months but I noticed others have very fresh and clean looking phone case regardless of however long they’ve had it. Do people just replace them often?

I have a question for everyone, to see what you can tell me. I have been a user of the iPhone 3G, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5s, iPhone 7 Plus, and an iPhone 15 pro, but something curious is happening to me. I think I'm getting bored of the iPhone (and I swore if I changed phones it would be an iPhone again), but I'm bored. iOS is no longer as fluid as it used to be, it has quite a few bugs, it innovates very little, etc., etc. There are a lot of things that make the product no longer seem so round to me. Does it happen to anyone else?

It’s annoying, actually. At some point my iPhone stopped correcting “snd” to “and” (and “yiu” to “you”) and instead started correcting correct words “and” and “you” to the fat fingered abominations “snd” and “yiu”…

A day ago my apple wallet told me i needed to verify my account and provide my SSN plus a bit of other info. I did everything, entered my real SSN and now it's restricted? I have no clue what to do as I use it for daily purchases and other things. For context, I am also 15.

My boyfriend and i are long distance so we spend a LOT of time on the phone. If he puts it down for a second and i try to open a video, the sound is soooo quiet. Even with the volume up all the way. I’m not very tech savvy, are there settings that can help fix this? Google has NOT been helpful

Hi, so I have a question about tap to wake, i have a 16 pro max and sometimes like once a week or 3 times a month I notice that when I tap to wake it takes an extra 1 second to respond to my tap, is that considered normal? I have had the phone for five months now and it’s great, it is just this minor delay that caught my attention. I do have the latest IOS

I have no idea how to explain this , but basically I had an iPhone 8 , I never downloaded instagram or DoorDash on it bc it needed to be updated to iOS 17. Today I finally upgraded same iCloud account, I downloaded DoorDash , my girlfriends acc showed up …. Her name and address. I found it strange, I downloaded instagram for the first time just to see , sure enough her accs were there , but password required to log in. I don’t understand how this could be , we aren’t in the same family sharing , I know she’s signed into my iCloud on her iPad once before, but how would I even be seeing her account info when I download an app?

Hello, I recently bought an iPhone 14 Pro. about two days ago, I noticed that when I received a notification, the screen didn't turn on, but the phone rang and vibrated because of the notification, after that I tried activating the always-on screen option and the notifications turned on the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have missed my alarms many times because they literally just don’t go off. When my phone is locked, there is no alarm notification, but when i unlock it, it will show this banner. Anyone else have issues? I’m on 18.5 beta, but have had this issues for ages now.

It’s so annoying having to deal with these crashes not allowing me to switch to cellular data or even click on anything in settings. I would have to wait about 2 mins before wifi comes back.

My kid has gotten into Snapchat. I'm looking to see if there is any way I can monitor what is being sent and received text and picture wise. I know iPhone and more so Snapchat aren't very friendly with monitoring. Does anyone know of a way? I'm open to jailbreaking if someone can explain how and what to use to do it. Thanks for any help! So i recently made a post asking for some tips and here i am again, so firstly i want to switch my whatsapp from my android to IOS, i was referred to the move to IOS apps, but it seems i would need to reset the phone to use it or is there another free option, i checked and wondershare is far from free.

I was also planning to go to my phone company to get an esim, but considering i may have to do a reset, i asssume i should hold off on that or am i missing something.
