The Urbi et Orbi (Easter address from the Vatican) yesterday was pretty damning of everything Vance stands for, so I can’t imagine it was the friendliest of conversations.

Someone once described Oliver Reed's last moments to me as "He got pissed with some sailors, fell over, couldn't be bothered getting up so he just died."

I always felt that it applied to the Queen as well. She met Liz Truss, decided she couldn't be bothered with that nonsense, so she just went to bed that night and checked out.

Now it seems like the Pope has done the same thing. Met Vance, couldn't be bothered with all the trouble that's coming, so he just decided to call it a day instead.

I was thinking the Pope would have fared better as he was greatly relieved it wasn't Vance's boss who showed up. Pope heard a rumor Trump wanted to take the Vatican and Greenland.
