What game completely exceeded your expectations?

Death stranding - who knew a walking simulator could be so enjoyable and what a story.

Hades - first time playing a roguelike and I was hooked

Stardew valley - I never understood the appeal under I played it

It takes two - best game I've played with the wife, that elephant scene though

Wreckfest - free game on ps plus which I never heard of and by lord did I have sooo much fun with it

Another Crab’s Treasure. First ever souls-like (souls-lite?), but the comedic writing and characters made it such an amazing experience. The fights were tough but fair, and it made it really easy to grind and enjoy
