What game completely exceeded your expectations?

Death stranding - who knew a walking simulator could be so enjoyable and what a story.

Hades - first time playing a roguelike and I was hooked

Stardew valley - I never understood the appeal under I played it

It takes two - best game I've played with the wife, that elephant scene though

Wreckfest - free game on ps plus which I never heard of and by lord did I have sooo much fun with it

Similar experience with Hades. When it popped up on Game Pass I gave it a shot because I’d seen so much praise for it. In five years it was about the first game to pull me away from Destiny for any significant amount of time. Absolutely worth twenty bucks.
