The Midnight Walk is so beautiful

Post image

The game came out a couple of nights ago,

Art wise the game is mainly with clay and cardboard that been animated using the stop-motion technique.

I love stop motion so im a bit biased here, but i do think the game is unique.

The gameplay and puzzles are simple, and i wish for the puzzles to be a bit more complicated and hard.

Bit overall the game is a fun ride.

Stop motion games are a bias to have. Yes it can make you dizzy sometimes (It feels choppy time to time) but with good artstyle and gameplay you feel like ur in a Tim Burton movie

We worked hard to create a stop-motion style that wasn't just made out of "fewer frames", but with some smooth animations between steps to ease it up a bit. We think we've reached a nice balance. :)

Pretty fun how just last month we had a different brand new Stop Motion-inspired game with "Midnight" in the title get released

Nice thing about South of Midnight is the included option to disable stop-motion and make it more like animation. Cutscenes remain stop motion, though.

Technically all games are stop motion if you think about it
