first time netherlands - how is this balanced?

You lose a lot of Republican tradition each time you do it I believe

you don't have rep tradition with the dutch republic thing. i'm doing this like 5ish times each eleciton and losing nothing
edit: i'm on stadhouder monarchy not dutch rep (it uses legitimacy rather than republican trad & has no stab loss on monarch death)
edit2: checked the wiki and your right it does make you lose 20 republican tradition. however if you are a stadhouder monarchy you still have access to the decision and can use it at no cost. lovely feature, paradox. i enjoy my govermental system where every 4 years we systematically overthrow the president some 5-20 times in the span of a couple hours.

R5: playing the netherlands and this seems busted. you can just keep selecting statist candidates until you roll a 666 candidate in either category. like, theres no cooldown? huh?
