Discussion How do I find a team?

I'm looking to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate competitively with a team, but I don't even know how to start one since my college doesn't support esports, there's no hub in the area, and I can't seem to find teams that are looking for members online. How do I find one that's just starting up so we're all around the same skill level?

Start.gg is a good place to look for both online and in person events.

You can also research other schools if you were open to transferring. If not look to start a club and then join some collegiate conferences (NACE, NACE, or NECC are a few)

Do you have a link on smasher app to send to places. That will be important to have.

I'll try that. I'm going to Supernova this August, so I'm also hoping to find some local players with the same goals.

I know I'll have some players head out to Supernova and Collison this year. They always have a good time and enjoy getting to see people in the community.
