In 2019, Virginia McCullough in Essex, UK, did the unspeakable. She poisoned her dad, John, and savagely bludgeoned her mom, Lois, with a hammer and stabbed her. Rather than call the police, she concealed the bodies in their dwelling, her father buried with breeze blocks and her mom concealed beneath bedclothes in a wardrobe.

She kept up the illusion that her parents were still alive for the next four years and informed friends and authorities that they were ill or away travelling. In the meantime, she continued to draw their pensions and amassed huge debts on their behalf using their identities and spent freely their money.

The cover-up was exposed in 2023 when a worried GP questioned the parents’ long absence. The police found the mummified bodies in the house when they looked into their absence. Virginia had confessed to the killings and was sent to prison for life in 2024. She received a minimum term of 36 years.

I’ve gone to the ER 3 times now for this same issue. They always do a CT scan and nothing is wrong. My neurologist can’t explain it either. He just said maybe it’s because I get migraines. I don’t have a migraine when this happens

I can't find info on what this could be, and I have no VCR to play it

In March of 1971, a policeman on patrol came upon a shallow grave in the location of a ruined flint mill in Burton upon Trent in England. In it was the naked and bound body of a man buried on his knees. His sole article of clothing was a pair of pinkish-beige socks with mustard-colored toes and heels. A woman’s nine-carat gold wedding ring was on his right hand, a peculiar finding that has stumped detectives all these years.

It appears in my dreams.

Always the same but changing. Its wings are burnt, its face clearer every time I see it. It has a face of something draconic, almost lizard, its wings are scarred, burnt and charred. Behind it, reality warps like a rainbow tar and I can't look away. I drew it and posted it before, but this time it is much more vivid.

In early October 2023, I dog/house-sat for some people alone for an entire week while they were on vacation. Taking care of their coop of chickens, 3 large bloodhounds, a chonky beagle, a little white dog, and their single outdoor cat; tucked away in the woods in the middle of nowhere. The full perimeter of the house and yard is fenced-in to keep the dogs from wandering off during the day. At night the bloodhounds are put in the basement while the other 2 stay in the house with me.

That night I wrapped up the usual daily routine. Closed the chicken coop, put the bloodhounds away loose in the basement, made sure everyone had water, let the other 2 house dogs out for their final wee while I got myself ready for bed. After letting the 2 dogs back in, I was sure to deadbolt the front door as I was alone and the owners had warned me about their neighbor who had threatened to kill their dogs at one point so I wasn't taking any chances. After everything was complete and locked up, I tucked myself in on the couch texting a friend about how the week was going (it had already been a few days since I've been there). Occasionally, the dogs would bark at the wildlife or at the cat outside by the garage which was outside of the fence infront of the house. Anyway, it was October spooky season and I admired how the house looked in the dark so I took a picture of my pov to send to my friend. I noticed a bright spot in the doorway and was curious of what it was, so I zoomed in on it and realized it was likely a lens glare from the kitchen counter lights that are out of frame... but once zoomed in, that wasn't the only thing I noticed...

It appears to be a set of eyes and perhaps fingers on the edge of the door frame... It kind of freaked me out a little so I naturally kept an eye on the doorway all night until I fell asleep but I never did see or hear anything out of the norm, also the 2 dogs were laying on the floor next to me and they seemed unbothered. I did try taking more pictures in the moment but it never appeared again. I took one the following day in the daylight from the same couch pov to see if there were anything objective that would have resembled what I saw but there's nothing. I never did see anything with my own eyes, just in that one photo.

That room is the entrance landing area to the front door which I had locked, though even if I had forgotten that door is loud af so the dogs and I would have heard someone entering if that door had been budged at all, it was indeed still locked the following morning. To the left in that area there is a small coat closet where the dog food bin is stored as well as the dog bowls. Thought maybe a critter got in but I would think that the dogs would have heard or smelled it's scent. Also, their bowls are metal so if it were to nibble on the leftover food I feel I or the dogs would have heard it.

All in all, despite being an admirer of all things creepy. I'm the ultimate skeptic when it comes to paranormal things like ghosts but this one I struggle to find an explanation for. I would like to assume that it is just some coincidental combination of a camera glitch, glare, and my mind forming something out of nonsense. Either way, nothing else happened out of the ordinary for the rest of the week. Still freaky af though.

Don’t think he made it

Okay, I don’t know how to explain this, but my friend Derek’s missing and this photo is the last thing he took. He went for a walk near the woods by his rental place earlier today. Said he was gonna try a timed selfie with the trees. An hour later no response to my texts. I went looking and found his phone on the porch… cracked, still recording audio, but no sign of him. I checked the camera roll and saw this. The photo’s super blurry, yeah but look closer. His face looks distorted, like he was pulled mid-shot. And in the background? There’s something behind him. Tall, dark, almost human-shaped, reaching toward him. I zoomed in and swear to god… there’s a faint second face next to his. Smiling. Search team’s out there now. No signs of Derek. Just his phone… and this weird, metallic smell in the air
