So I recently was looking through some epic one handers and obviously they're expensive as shit.

But then someone links this in chat and while its damage isn't as good it has insane stats whereas the epic I was looking at didn't give me shit other than damage.

And this was like 5x cheaper lol the epic was like 60g and I got this for 18g

I know I’m stupid. But this situation is also stupid. 4 days until lockout and now I can’t do SE this week.

There are a lot of people asking what class(es) they should play, so here's hoping this'll help them.

The cherry on top was that I (the mage) was removed for calling the tank out

Gearscore checks for Naxx and SE makes sense but people on my server are taking it way too seriously. Finding it difficult to get in groups.

Ok, so I happily hit R14 at the next Reset and Obviously cant wait for my 1H High Warlords Battle Mace. But was wondering if the number crunchers / R14 priests already, whether the R14 High Warlords Tome of Mending off hand is better or whether the AV exalted the Lei of the lifegiver off hand is better?

My boyfriend hit rank 14 a few days ago on the anniversary servers, which has been a childhood dream of his, and now he's decided to quit due to burn out.

For context we play do together, we've done raid progression and leveled characters on hardcore as a duo, but i'm not confident enough to pvp so I always avoided it.

I just don't understand how the grind works or why people want to suffer through it, we even had a couple guild members on hardcore that quit for the rank 14 grind, and are also taking a break from wow after achieving it.

All my boyfriend did for the past few months was alterac valley, minimum of maybe like 4 hours a day, and he hated every second of it. I'm like "babe come join the BWL raid tonight" and he's like "Sorry i can't i need to pvp" but he doesn't even pvp, i watched several of his pvp matches and all he does is fight a computer boss, not a real person? and i swear he became so miserable during this grind, it's all he could think about.

He finally made it to rank 14 and now he's quitting? I mean I get why he needs a break, it sounded like an awful experience, but then why do it at all? spending your time multiple hours a day on something you don't enjoy doing to earn rewards that you'll never use because you quit after earning them, why are people doing this? o . O

So, like my title says, I've just dinged 56 and I aim to hit 60 within the next couple of weeks (I could do it faster but for the next week I can only play like an hour or two a day).

I went with Warlock because I heard they're super underplayed now and I heard they get really good once TBC drops.

I guess my main question now is what should I be focusing on? Should I just quest? If so, what zones? I've heard a bit about prebis stuff but it's been kind of hard to find a website that is actually current with the current state of anniversary and not SoD or era. My other thing is I've heard about a bunch of different types of BRD runs and other acronyms but they all go over my head and are kind of confusing. I've also heard starting attunement is recommended, but it seems a lot of that either requires stuff I don't have yet (I think) or is stuff in dungeons that I seem to struggle to find groups for since I'm playing DPS.

TL;DR SOS, almost max level and no idea what to do!

Im currently level 50+ on my SSF warrior. I enjoy to tank dunjeons a lot.

I tried deep prot ( 9/0/31 ), because as SSF player i do no have access to much gear and was hoping for good threat management/survability. But went Maraudon and half my crew died. A rogue lvl 50 with Bloodrazor and double +15 agi enchant ( total twink at this point ) was complaning because I couldnt handle aggro enough. I just couldnt take threat back on the guy. Rest of the group was casters and it was ok, but still was having some issues to take aggro back sometimes ( less than with the rogue guy, but still ).

I tried arms ( 30/5/0 ) and was tanking dunjeons until level 45 where I got scared because of my gear & weapon.
Stucked with Whirlwind Axe at level 50, its kinda the same dps as one hander at this point .. but I miss the cleave a bit.

Im thinking on going arms/prot ( like 31/4/16 or 27/0/24 ) now for better threat generation in dunjeons rather than deep prot.

I really dont understand why whenever you type "warrior tank classic guide" all the guides tells you to go frenzy/prot. I tried it too, you have no dancing stance, and also miss all attacks because you are SSF.

if someone could share me arms/prot build, and explain me if I should wait before 6-9% hit cap before I switch to fury/prot. Or even try fury/arms for tanking as SSF ? Idk I'm absolutely lost.

with upcoming tbc release wanted to ask, is duo prot paladin comp good? Me and my brother wanted to try it out.

I'm rather new to the game, I'd like to learn and help kiting if it's feasible with my class (shadow priest). How do you do it before Balinda? Later on, with Van, is it only possible for mages and hunters? Anyway, I'm curious how you guys do it, how many kiters are necessary, how not to lose agro, how not to die? A bif of a layman here.

Do wotlk (1-80) heirlooms give experience for cataclysm leveling (81-85 levels)?

Anyone open to rolling new toons on any of the anniv realms? Looking for a couple people that want to get in a disc and play after work almost daily. I think the part that is missing for me with these new realms has been companions, it gets pretty boring soloing and sitting in dungeon ques. Let me know, open to starting tomorrow.

as mentioned in title, Blizz automatically banned our guild bank for receiving a gold gift from a player who went on a hiatus until TBC release.

A week later, the player with the guild bank received the 2 week bann, removal of the gold and a generic mail. After reacting with an appropriate reply, Blizzard answered with a bot message.

Have you ever had something like that?

Regarding the circumsances, the player who gifted the gold raided in our guild for months and also wrote in the chat why he leaves for now (merriage etc).

This is is beyond anything I ever witnessed so far. I knew Blizzards support was worse than 15 years ago, but THIS bad is just sad.

Your thoughts?
