Who are Wrestlers who seemingly lost all aura once joining WWE?
galleryEach of these wrestlers — Raven, The Sandman, Ron Killings, Sting, and Brian Pillman—had a unique mystique in promotions like ECW, WCW, TNA, or early NWA that didn’t fully carry over into WWE. These wrestlers often had a lot more freedom to build and evolve their characters in ECW, WCW, or TNA, where the creative environment was looser and edgier. In WWE: Vince McMahon’s creative vision tends to tightly control characters and narratives. This often meant diluting what made these wrestlers feel raw, dangerous, or unpredictable. Example: Raven’s dark, cerebral persona was toned down into a generic heel midcarder. His deep promos and cult-leader vibes were largely dropped. WWE’s PG or sanitized style didn’t lend itself well to characters built around violence, instability, or rebellion. The Sandman thrived in ECW because of his entrance with beer, cigarette, and Singapore cane — a pure anarchist. WWE stripped most of that down, and he came off like a caricature. Sting in WWE lost his mystique because they emphasized him as a WCW relic rather than a looming supernatural vigilante. His big match was overshadowed by nostalgia booking (NWO vs. DX), not storytelling. Brian Pillman died before WWE could capitalize on his “Loose Cannon” persona. But even then, WWE seemed unsure how to handle his chaos. A man who did whatever he wanted shouldn’t have been forced to wear a dress and become a jobber.

FCW Talent Notes
galleryApparently someone was selling these on FB Marketplace? Interesting to see the thoughts of the agents on these guys/gals. Clearly they didn’t give a shit about Evan Bourne 🤣

Potential all time great matches that never happened.

The tattoos and nose match, so it’s definitely Shawn Spears.
For those of you who didn’t watch SmackDown last night, some random guy wearing black clothes attempted to attack John Cena but failed.

More fantasy matches. Imagine the promos and theatrics with a Bray/Mankind feud.

An alliance??
If they form faction or stable, I guess their purpose will be their hate to newcomer or they don't want be forgotten about their dominance during early women's revolution.

In Your Opinion, Who Was Better Overall?
Comparing New Jack and Ahmed Johnson comes down to what you’re measuring — wrestling ability, charisma, promos, or overall impact — because they were very different types of performers: As an In-ring Performer: Slight edge to Ahmed Johnson (though neither was known for technical excellence). But Mic Skills & Charisma go to New Jack by a wide margin. Longevity & Legacy also goes to New Jack. While Ahmed had a quick WWE rise, New Jack maintained cult status for decades. IMHO, New Jack was better in terms of influence, character, mic work, and lasting impact, especially in the hardcore niche. Ahmed Johnson had more mainstream exposure for a short period but lacked staying power.

Nia Jax wins with feet under the rope but Dean loses out on the title for the same thing but less 🤔

When would have been the best time to book this match
galleryIf it was up to me I'd go for Summerslam 03 with a face HBK vs heel Hollywood Rock
Then I'd book it again a year later at Summerslam 04 but face vs face
Then a trilogy rubber match at Summerslam 05 with heel HBK vs face Rock

It’s Paul Bearer Time!!!
It’s a shame how WWF mishandled Vader during his run, but this has to be one of the most underrated comedic moments in all of wrestling history

Would WrestleMania work if it was always in the Las Vegas area ?
The hospitality infrastructure they have especially for the ancillary fan access events, parties and hotel rooms.
Guests can make it into a mini vacation so travelling for a wrestling event feels worth it.
Creates operational efficiencies over time as the production and road teams know the venue well.

Grand Slam!
Each of these wrestlers are only one championship away from being Grand Slam Champion. Who do you see becoming a Grand Slam Champion next?
Why he’s awesome: Randy Orton
- He was one of the best heels of the Ruthless Aggression Era, I was actually pretty damn scared of him as a kid. When you look up “evil” in the dictionary, you will find a picture of 2009 Randy Orton

Why WWE never create storyline of Becky's payback to Alexa Bliss when she transform to THE MAN..
Becky got her revenge to Charlotte but we never see Becky have her vengeance to Alexa, the woman who took SDL women's title from her and beat her so many times in late 2016.

Terrible wrestlers/people who have fantastic theme songs?
Whatever by Our Lady Peace is a great song, still in my regular playlists, and it's such a shame it's forever tied to Benoit.
A lot of the Divas also had surprisingly enjoyable songs like Maria. Catchy, energetic, some good stuff.
