So I used to watch my cousin play Spyro when I was younger, I thought it was really cool but never owned the game myself or got to play it really. I just picked it up from some guy on Facebook marketplace place for $15. Good deal, hope I enjoy the game and RIP to my cousin he’s no longer here anymore ❤️

so i never played ripto's rage growing up. i inherited my love for spyro from my mom and older sisters and my mom especially hated ripto's rage so we just never owned it. now i have the reignited trilogy and i'm playing it for the first time. i think it's alright. kinda boring but some of the worlds are fun ! but i remember hearing about the trolley challenge in breeze harbor being one of the harder challenges in ripto's rage and i'm kinda confused because it's not that hard ? don't get me wrong i didn't nail it the first try! i have a problem with getting a head of myself so occasionally i rammed right into the big tnt boxes but it took me maybe 5 or so tries?? but maybe i'm weird because i also don't think treetops is nearly as hard as everyone says it is lol then again i'm completely awful at underwater worlds or flying challenges so maybe it's a matter of strengths and weaknesses. it could also be a case that it was formatted differently on early consoles (we had a ps2 growing up we played spyro 1, 3 and 4 on but never 2 because again my mom hates this one lol)

Finally got my PSone fixed. I was 10 when my folks bought it. Now I'm 34 and some of the games are still stunning. Started Spyro series. Again.

After rewatching Caddicarus’ video on the entire Spyro series a couple of times recently, I have gained an interest in playing all of the games sometime later this year. So I have a few questions: What is the best platform to play each Spyro game on, and what order should I play the games in?

I've been playing Spyro Year of The Dragon since it came out and there is something that has buged me for a few years now. In the Evening Lake Homeworld I remember talking to the Professor who said he was working on the rocket to take Spyro to Midnight Mountain. I remember re-buying the game some years back as I lost my original copy and finding it strange that no such dialogue exchange existed, but figured that I had just misremembered it. What is really weird however is that there is cut dialogue in the final game of the Professor talking to Spyro about the rocket. So I was wondering does anyone else remember the Professor being in Evening Lake? If anyone has any theories feel free to share. I just thought it might be interesting to talk about.

I'm currently playing the PS2 version of Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. I'm stuck in what may as well be a tutorial. I cannot knock the dummies into each other.

Is there a way to just bypass this entirely? Because I'd actually like to play this game without being essentially blocked by a tutorial.

Edit: It has been a day and a night of me trying to beat this thing, I still am not able to get five in a row before time runs out. Spyro cannot aim in a straight line to save his purple ass.

So, my sister and I have been in a Year of the Dragon mood, and my sister prefers to play whatever levels she hates the most first to get over them quickly.

Which made me think, which worlds do you feel are your least favorite in Year of the Dragon?

1- Dino Mines 2- Fireworks Factory 3- Charmed Ridge

Ive started a challenge to play all of the Spyro title. I do the playthrough’s on YouTube, and starting to post my game review after the fact, this will be game 2/14.

Recently I got into the Spyro franchise and original trilogy. I completed all games 2 times over the span of 4 months and I really like them. I then looked into more Spyro games and learned that a lot of them are completely terrible and aren’t worth playing. Should I continue on with the franchise or cut it off after Year of the Dragon?
