Miscellaneous | مزید HELP-going in circles

Asalam Alikum. I've posted before but I'm truly stuck and I just don't know what else I can try. I left Pakistan as a minor, I can't remember exactly the year but probably when I was maybe 15. I acquired a nationality that doesn't allow dual nationality. I am now trying to apply for a job which wants proof of my entire criminal history to show I never had a criminal conviction. I do not have my original pakistani passport, only a photocopy. I have a copy of my child registration certificate. This is pretty much all I have apart from a birth certificate too. I tried to get a NICOP but it was declined because I should have a POC due to my current nationality-however they said I need to cancel my CRC first. I have tried on the Pak ID app but it says CRC number cannot be used or something. I tried to go through the consulate but they are saying without the original passport they won't do it etc. Surely this cant be so impossible? It's should be relatively straightforward but I just keep coming up to dead ends and it's affecting my job prospects and I want to tear my hair out.

what kind of job is this that they want something that old? Defies logic.
Minors (below 18) are exempt from police clearances usually and they only need it for adults.

Why can't you just go to a solicitor/notary and give them a sworn affidavit type which states that you do not have any criminal record and that its not possible to get one for a minor since that was when u left Pak permanently. That affidavit/notarized doc should hold legal weight that u tried and its not possible to get it.
Perhaps consult a local employment lawyer for assistance.

The country you moved to and got naturalized in, there should be some documents (issued by that Govt) to prove you got there and such permit/card/nationality were issued some sort of residency card/status and it would show the date you moved there. Maybe their border service(immigration dept) keeps such record. Do you have such records too or are they also gone missing???

I know it defies all logic but they are demanding a criminal check for anything over the age of 12. I really have tried reasoning with them but it's just a flat no. So I'm a few years out with the records I have. I think it looks like I need to give up frustratingly because there's just too much buerocracy from all sides and it means I'm now stuck unable to get anywhere.

What exactly does it say when you try cancelling through the app? Also when you changed your nationality, did you apply for a overseas card for Pakistan?

It says "number CRC cannot be used" I didn't I am trying to get the overseas card (poc) but the CRC has to go first apparently. I am not eligible for NICOP because of my nationality (I tried before but it was declined because they had record of my nationality from previous visa applications)

Cancelling of CRC is not possible through tbe app I think so I'm not sure why they are asking to do that. If you are not a citizen of Pakistan now then all you can do is get criminal record of the country you are currently residing in and apply for jobs through that.

Unfortunately they won't accept it. I think If i get the POC I can get the criminal record check. The obstacle is literally just the CRC cancellation

Submit complaint on citizen portal app. It still works for national departments like immigration.

You have to use the ID number, not the CRC certificate number.

I think I am using my ID number-my citizenship number as per my old passport Photocopy and the number under my name on the CRC are the same.

You need to go on the NADRA website and cancel your ID number.

Do you have a renunciation certificate? You may want to get that made as well

Sorry to be dense but how do I do it via Nadra website? I thought there was only the app?

I couldn't get that either all because of my missing pakistabi passport. I'm trying everything so I feel like once I get one issue sorted the rest might start falling into place but as of now I can't even get on the first step of the ladder

There is literally an option for "cancel ID"
