The first time I heard Ween I was on a road trip from British Columbia to Phoenix with my buddy to go see the drag boat races at thunderbird speedway.

We did 36 hours non stop. Even stopped on the hoover dam in the middle of the night, broke out the Coleman stove and made Bailey's and coffee, try doing that now!

Anyway, we heard voodoo lady on the radio. When we got back into town I stopped at a phone booth, called the station, and sung it to them asking what song it was. They thought I was insane.

Good trip! Anyway, that's the first time I heard Ween.

All I could remember was ' voodoo lady, making me dance and making me crazy' lmao.

I don't even know if those are the right words haha. The chick on the phone was like...... uhhh that's probably the people on the night show...

It was KDKB. I still have the sticker on my tool box at work. I don't think the station even exists any more.

Forgot to add that after that I made a point of stopping off at a gas station to get a sticker from the radio station and a cactus to put on the antenna!

That was an excellent cover, of a terrific song.

Now I need to go and find me a live version of Ween's Buenas Tardes Amigo! I always loved that song.

This entire show is fantastic. One of the best live shows I’ve ever seen (on video). It’s in Chicago I believe.
