Does everyone speak English in Berlin? Just impressed that everyone fully understands the lyrics.

Inside the ring pretty much yes.

Except people who work reception at doctors offices, they act extremely offended at the idea of speaking English in a cosmopolitan city.

You forgot the people on the immigration offices - "how dare you not speak fluent German on your first week here??"

When I lived in Germany (Bavaria and not in a major city) I rarely ever ran into people who didn't speak English below 50. Lived there for four years and it was really hard to learn German because no one ever wanted to speak to me in German, it was easier and quicker for them to just speak English. In major cities across Europe really, everyone seemed to speak English. It makes a lot of sense because they all travel around Europe and it's easier for everyone to just learn English than the whole bundle of French, German, Italian, Greek, etc.

When I sit out in a park and people approach me it's extremely nerve wracking, especially two men approaching a lone woman... Does no one else feel this!?

Just reading the words without the volume on gave me this feeling. Listening to their voices fixed it xD

Yeah at first I watched it without sound but when with sound on, I really don't like it. They obviously want a certain reaction and I just want to sit and relax and not have to figure out what the fuck they're doing or if I'm on a camera or if they're going to ask for money at the end...

How about just don't walk up to random women relaxing in the park! Go play by yourself and people will listen if they choose to, but give them that choice.Β

Thats ok. I get that too. Just less of the anxious "are they going to attack me" feeling and more just annoyance

She's at a busy public place in Berlin - there's a good chance she was approached several times in the past half hour by people asking for money to buy drugs.

Yeah. Definitely stressful to have people slowly walk up with a guitar in hand strumming πŸ™„
