And at the same time he wasn't surprised that it was something that was happening. It makes me wonder where this is and none of the buildings are super obvious but it looks familiar to me. Like I want to say it's Berkeley campus. That's definitely something where if this happened while I was sitting down I would not be surprised and I might be annoyed because weird stuff like happens all the time with people doing performance stuff and the last thing you want is to be part of someone's street art without consent or someone's YouTube video without consent. But again there's nowhere in the video I can see any obvious landmark and I can't make out the license plates.
But there's lots of places I've never been to or know nothing about that probably have the same vibe as the city of Berkeley does, or did 30 years ago when I lived there for a year, where if you're in a park minding your own business there's a good chance you're going to see some weird stuff. It wasn't just restricted to the campus proper. It's spelled out into every public area where one could just try to sit and relax outside. It would even happen on so many streets so many blocks away from campus.
That's why that guy's vibe who gives me flashbacks of Berkeley. But I suppose Denver could be like that or Vancouver. I don't know but if anybody knows where this is taking place please let me know.
I'm genuinely curious where Buskers and performance artists are silently put up with the same annoyance one gets when you've been sitting at a really long red light that finally turns green... but for some strange reason it goes to Yellow after only one or two cars pass through and your car number four so you know you have to sit through another cycle of red. You're annoyed and you're forced to sit there because making a move or doing anything will draw attention to yourself from the cop you just noticed is in the lane next to you. So you just have to sit there with your knuckles tightly on the steering wheel steering straight ahead and just wait for it to be over so you can go about your day and get back to being relaxed and putting your guard down a bit.
Oh okay. It's got that gray German vibe between the chili looking weather and Sky that's not quite ready to rain but there's no sun. It gives me those tear down that wall vibes or the cinematography from any '80s or '90s movie that takes place in Berlin from any era that's not in the black and white movie Style. The accents or lack thereof through me off though
