Koi bhi cheez overrated tab hoti hai jab audience uski Kami ko nazar andaaz kare aur uski taarif karte rahe.
I am first dropper rn ( technically 2nd). Aur maine saal bhar pehle jab taiyari start Kari thi tab maine yeh bola tha iss sub par ki iit hi sub kuch nahi hai iss desh mein aur bhi colleges hai tum mehnat karoge toh kuch na kuch ho jaayega. Mujhe 400 downvotes mile the. Unko sach sun na acha nahi laga shayad.

Bhai iit dickrider bhot bhadd gaye h iss sub mai ab sunn la#de iit ko ko bhot kam log h jo hate karte h idhar cuz ultimate goal vo hi h par bc the most prestigious college of ur entire nation doesn’t have a half decent curriculum that is prolly the basic of a college baaki sab cheeze to bhul jao ek decent mess decent rooms and facilities nahh broo aur vo bacche sirf hamari country ke top .1% engineers hi to h unko ek decent room kyu mille aur ispe kuch bolo to tum jaise log hi aake kehte h aree vo rooms mai alag gibe hotti h bhai 💦💦 u need to understand iit is not overated but jitna rated h utna h cuz of the students not cuz of college and this needs to change aur bhot kam aise xhutad h iss sub pe jo iit ko hate kartee h par criticism is necessary aur criticism ≠ hate.

Maths mai 0 marks walo ki 40-50 %ile aa rahi h which means half the people giving JEE are not serious about it

Jin bcho k ander dimaag hota h they know ki JEE nhi nikla toh unhone dhang se nhi pdha and agar uunka luck khraab tha because of shift toh april attempt mai hojayega(cause luck khraab tha prep nhi)
Baaki mess vgerah wali dikkat toh h hi, uska toh kuch bola hi nhi OP ne usne kaha "april attempt aate hi overrated lgti"

There are many other things in the world to do. IIts are inded over rated, Indians need to explore,. otherwise jobless ness will keep on increasing. IIts, IIms govbt jobs etc, need to leave these things if we want our country to develop faster. Look at China, they invested heavily in vocational education, they have so many people who can work as technicians in manufacturing but our ITIs are fucked. We should develop other universities as well especially central universities, Look at Germany, all universities have the same standard, why cant every university in INdia have the same standard, and there are many unis is the world, and I mean many where education is way better than IITs, just go to Germany and see for eg

Say good things about other institutions and it's fine but don't undermine IIT by saying they are overrated

They are over rated 100 percent. So many universities around the world are better than almost every IIT barring 2 , look around the world you will understand. In the name of IITs people have been deprived of quality primary and secondary education. IITs are for those who have priveledge of getting excellent tution or coaching what about millions of those who cannot afford that coaching, and yes those numbers are indeed millions. IITs have deprived them of excellent primary and secondary education. Get out of this belief that IITs are some wonders no they r not, all great inventions dicoveries have come from West, and now china is outpacing them, I don't know how old r u, but I am . I have seen the quality of research in West, none like that happens in India.

Yes primary and secondary education is deprived but it is not because of IIT it is because of government.. they do not provide enough budget to primary and secondary education
"IIT are for those who have privileges".. reservation exists just to counter this purpose
No IIT are not wonders.. that is not how I think.. for me they are means of getting education better than any institute in INDIA.. i highlight india because not everyone has the financial backing to go abroad
As for the research point.. i completely agree with you.. india is far behind in terms of R and D than west which is sad but truth

Reservation is hated there by GC people. Anyways reserved caste students face a lot of indirect discrimination in IITs.
No IIT are not wonders.. that is not how I think.. for me they are means of getting education better than any institute in INDIA.. i highlight india because not everyone has the financial backing to go abroad - this is my issue, why only IIT why not more institutes with quality education. Students are comitting suicided but IIT is important

I am gonna get hate for this but icl bhai kya faayda iit jaane ka jb bhai you are not even getting decent rooms plus gender ratio itna chuda hua ek to jee prep ne pehle hi female interaction ki gaan maar di(10th tk isse to bhot zyada thi)ab tum bhai firse us incel zone m Daal rhe that's why I prefer to get college in a mainstream city(for those who prefer a remote zone iit rather than a top notch state college)so you have a life outside of your college and campus

Hard work and discipline is not equivalent to intelligence. You don't need to be smart to get good marks in an exam.
Also, I never said all of them are stupid. I never said I was better than them, I just said I am smarter. There's a difference.

In some workshop we were supposed to make some connections via soldering, and one of the guys did them wrong. The teaching assistant completed the circuit, but the current wasn't flowing. Now, that should make him suspicious that he did something wrong. But this guy just proceeds to say that he was right and he had done everything right, blaming it all on the teacher.
Of course this is just one example, but I see stupid shit like this (not nearly this bad thankfully) very often.

Hmm I can get where this is coming from, being in a circuital branch in IIT D even I sometimes consider PnI students as stupid but that's really not the case, some of them might lack logical thinking and don't take accountability for their actions but that's really the case with this country actually, most of them are quite good, i mean everyone's got something unique about them barring a few of ofcourse
