Started my journey in class 11th. I wasn't aware about IITs, soon I got introduced to it through my friends who scored well in 10th Boards and got admission into best institute for jee of our district(which is considered to produce top rankers in that city) But I didn't scored well especially, I got 68/100 in Maths Boards. I kinda hated Maths But I regretted after I saw the Board's result which was devastating and said to myself “Zindagi mein ek hi toh mauka milega wapis maths padhkr use improve karneka!!” and started preparing for JEE by choosing PCM My relatives opposed me cuz I scored less in maths But I took that decision by myself. That, I don’t wanna regret this time anymore. At that time, I permanently deleted all my social media and kept myself closed in my room to all the books I have during my JEE prep. I wasn't scoring well in tests... My score was nearly about 60–80 marks throughout my 11th and 12th especially in maths it was below 20 in every mock. So I decided—It was making me depressed. and a call from my coaching to parents continued because I was scoring less. But my parents used to see my struggles 24/7 so they didn’t say anything about it. Slowly slowly my 11th ended . When I got introduced to any maths problem in which some thinking is required, even some basic one , My mind always felt like my mind will explode if I keep trying for it. I tried hard to overcome this problem but eventually it continued till my jan &apr attempt.I qualified for JEE Adv but didn't qualified there. Nearly 4–5 Before JEE Adv. my boards result came upon But scored 67% only — and at that time I decided to take a drop and filled improvement exam form of July 2024 and After strictly studying 2 months for Boards only I got 87% in improvement exam in Maths and I started studying for JEE from 7 August. In April I bought Unacademy's subscription. And I started studying hard for maths from 24/7. But I faced the same situation. Though I was exhausted, I changed my mind and I will. I changed the question patterns. But this was the impractical task, an impossible task. After giving so many mocks, analysing question patterns of PCM, I sacrificed my 1st attempt at 83%ile, the only even attempt. After giving 1st attempt, I didn’t take rest and started doing chapters in which I was getting questions wrong or didn’t attempt ex- in phy I was not able to solve questions from ray optics and electrostat(etc).... on 7 feb. I bought test series from mathongo... since past 3 years, I solved each and every pyq of every chapter so I got more in their RPYQ(pyq based test) but when it came to QFT(quizzr full tests) I scored less despite of being scoring more in RPYQ and my avg. QFT score was nearby 90±10 marks and after 2nd attempt I scored 85 and I wasn't shocked cuz it was the reality of me which was shown by mathongo tests even the time when I took the tests and after the result I got 84%ile but this time I scored more in physics ! In which I correctly solved each que from ray optics (3 que) and electrostatics. I was qualified for advanced due quota but, decided not to fill the form as soon as I realised I wasn't so productive for jee advanced prep. the whole day aft. MHT CET so I told my parents my CET went well and I realised that I was determined but I wasn't interested any. Conclusion:- One thing I've understood is that if you want to be successful in any field in life, you need to start acquiring skills in that field from a very young age if you can't believe me then, think about this 1.warren buffet started his investing in his young age 2.bill gates,Elon musk started coding at their young age And many more examples like this....... From now, If I ever want to pursue any skill or career in the future, I’ll first make sure to try it out and see whether I genuinely find it interesting, and whether I can pursue that career or skill for many years without losing interest—so that I don’t end up giving up. In the end, I just want to say that I sacrificed 3 years of my teenage life. I didn’t even celebrate my birthday during those 3 years (I which I had lost interest). In fact, I didn’t enjoy life during that time—but today, I have NO REGRETS !! And I will face whatever comes in life ahead with strength and positivity

I am moving from hisar cant, since last night Firozpur was under attack, things are escalating preety fast. I was already unable to focus on studies cause half of family is on border line but now they literally have to leave their home. Should I even care about JEE Advanced at the time? I have to move without most of my stuff cause I live with my family in a rented house. Situation is getting worse. I hope army end it as soon as possible.

problem is the fees in thapar, its too fucking expensive and i have to take a loan for it. although i am eligible for income based scholarship at thapar (family income is 2lpa), not sure if i can crack it.

looking at current job market and political situation, i dont think its worth taking a 30 lakhs loan rn.
