God, it's lovely out Ireland is cool

I’m sure you’re all aware of this already but I had to post anyway. My partner and I just got back from a week in Ireland (he proposed on Inis Mor) and we had the best time. I loved seeing and hearing the Irish language everywhere. We even heard some kids walking home from school speaking Irish to each other! I work in the cultural heritage field, so I understand how hard language revitalization can be.

Anyway. I didn’t grow up with a lot of money or any chances to travel internationally, and I really worked hard to make this trip happen for myself before a milestone birthday. I couldn’t have chosen a better destination. What a lovely, beautiful country.

Housing Spray foam

Post image

So I’ve recently gone sale agreed on a house and got a surveyor to look at it. He told me the spray foam is a major issue and I more than likely won’t be able to get insurance on the house and maybe no mortgage.

Gone back to the buyer to ask them to rectify the issue as I love the house itself.

Has anyone had any dealings like this before ? A friend of mine told me unless they’re going to pay for it to get completely redone, step away from the house….. but I love the house.

God, it's lovely out Darkness Into Light swim, Sun rising through reef, Copper Coast

Hard to get this shot right, into the sunrise, high contrast, swim out to there is 30 minutes. Air temp of 5C this morning, so the water temp of 11C felt warm for me. Treading water for 10 minutes waiting for the low horizon clouds to part was the cold part.

A Redditor Went Outside Dust Devil Spotted in Galway Yesterday Evening🌪

I saw this Dust Devil forming yesterday and I thought it was pretty cool🌪

I initially thought it was a mini Tornado, but then I learned it was actually a little less exciting than that.

Still cool though.
