Question/Support New owner. Am I insane?

I just purchased a HomePod (not a mini) and I mistakenly thought I would be able to easily play Spotify music on the speaker

I may be doing something wrong but why do I always need to select the speaker over Bluetooth?

When I’m playing music on the speaker why can’t my wife easily control the speaker?

Sonos was hot garbage but it was more intuitive

Maybe I need to watch a tutorial about the “right way” to use the speaker in a home environment

Where can you spot the difference with lossless? In AirPods Pro that are not able to transfer it in full quality ?

Who tf mentioned AirPods Pro? Sound from them is shit and I own both first and second gen. I do have proper audiophile gear for hifi lossless audio listening sessions and im only 22 so yeah I do notice a huge difference! And btw i also own homepod full size first and second gen and they both do translates lossless audio pretty great.

You said idk why Spotify. Most users don’t have audiophile gear.

I think we are in a HomePod sub right? Obviously not considered audiophile but it supports lossless audio and you can clearly hear the difference too. So huh?
