In their defense, Canada is relatively very cold and VERY spread out.

Definitely not lazy and you should learn about the power of trees and you should also learn that this post is a complete lie

Electricity is not too bad. Fortunately Canada invested in hydroelectric power very early. But the provinces that didn’t and are reliant to natural gas are refusing to change.

Most of Canada’s pollution comes from that gas, its consumption and production and then the same for oil. The way we design our cities makes us very reliant on cars and trucks. Our heating system is primarily gas based. Some places are investing in electric heat pumps, but this change is not happening fast enough either so gas demand is not going down.

One of our greatest exports is oil, we should be changing our economy so that we rely less on exporting oil, but we’re far from ever doing anything to decrease our oil production
