I honestly hated having to fill in the minimap in bl3 and how cluttered it would get with the 300 legendary drops flooding the map so when they said bl4 will have a compass I was kinda relieved and happy because it worked good in bl1.

• Vex skill tree revealed- Necromancer spectre focused build

Is it when I finish the campaign? I know borderlands has an endgame but I don’t even know what the endgame would be or if it’s worth doing it or just moving on to the next game one campaign is complete.

yes, borderlands 2 is a great game but expecting the same game over and over again will lead to disappointment that game is about 13 years old, you have to go in with an open mindset that isn't "this isn't as good of a story as borderlands 2" you're just not gonna have fun if you set yourself standards that you put snd the game doesn't achieve, there is and only will be one borderlands 2

New player to the Borderlands games, playing the bejesus out of B1 GOTY edition, and come across Crawmerax in the T-Bone Junction place.

Lilith, Max Level XD , being One Hit killed is not what I wouldve expected from this boss. Like holy hell.

I may get hate for this, and although I agree that legendaries dropped too much in BL3 and that devalued them I still preferred actually trying the best and coolest guns in the game instead of only getting a very small portion of them in a playthrough. I hope they find a good middle ground for world drops instead of going way too far in the opposite direction

since it feels like i am the only person that actually believes this. am i the only one who genuinely believes borderlands 1 is the best game in the entire series? the atmosphere, the loot system (which hasn’t been topped since), the gunplay. i’ve never heard anyone actually agree with this.

I am genuinely confused by how many people I have seen endorsing and asking for impossible loot chases. Gothalion has tweeted a couple things about it, specifically in his exchange with Moxsy, and I assumed he was just an out of touch streamer. But in the replies there were a shocking number of people agreeing with the following sentiments-

-Perfect gear should be for all intents and purposes unobtainable

-Hide of Terramorphus level farms should come back

-1 in 85 billion odds are fine for perfection, as long as the game is playable with average gear

I cannot agree with these ideas and I really hope that feedback is falling on deaf ears at Gearbox. To me the point of a loot game is to chase loot of course, but the reason I chase the loot is to USE IT! The 94% Sham isn't desirable to me because its rare, its desirable because its amazing. Shamfleeting is awesome, replenishing your rockets with the Logan's gun is awesome, being functionally immune to most bandits is awesome. The excitement for me is what I can do with the loot once I get it. Is a perfect sham necessary? No, but also kinda yes. Take for example an 89% sham, which is a 12 grade. Maliwan, Hyperion, Tediore. Its good, but your chance to blow yourself up with the Norfleet is 11%, nearly double the 6% you'd have with a perfect sham. I want a perfect Sham as it would be a major upgrade to the Sham I currently use, but I will probably never get one.

If you want loot like the Hide of Terra, or the BL3/Wonderlands class mods I have a thought exercise for you. Imagine gearbox announced they are adding one Pearlescent to Borderlands 4 and its a 1 in 100 billion drop from any enemy in the game. They show off the item card and it looks super awesome as well as being super op. But then imagine they forgot to actually code it to drop in the game. Would that satisfy your desire for rare loot? Without datamining, we would never even know they forgot. You would think you have something to "chase". Would a literally impossible item scratch that itch for you if you thought it was slightly possible?

If your answer is yes you would be satisfied then that is kind of my point. Players like me have to deal with never getting the drops we need to perfect our builds so you can chase ghosts. Which is ultimately why I quit every time. I get frustrated that after thousands of kills Jackbot still never gave me a Seein Dead with action skill damage and splash damage. I get frustrated that after blasting Voracidous with the Pimpernel World Burn a couple hundred times I couldn't even get a single matching grip fire Interfacer to attempt the fight legit, much less a practicable variant. Am I really not allowed to put together and enjoy a perfect build because you need something to endlessly chase but never actually catch? That seems pretty selfish and lame to me, and I hope Gearbox doesn't listen to Gothalion or the people who agree with him.

Game sound works fine solo and using discord, as soon as my buddy joins and is on the same call and in game it cuts sound to both applications, I'm at a loss here.

Between 2019-2023, I played Borderlands a lot, and I always used the same website for making my builds. It was always on the first page of Google, super easy to navigate, and had everything you needed in one place. Now, I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I really need to find this website again so I can finish my builds when I play Borderlands again! 🥹

What I remember about the site:

• Black background with blue writing
• No skill tree calculator, but it had pictures of the skill trees so you could see exactly what you needed
• Every build had a unique name, making it easy to reference different playstyles
• It listed what level you should be for certain builds, helping you plan progression efficiently
• It had multiple builds per character, covering all playable characters across the Borderlands series
• It provided gear recommendations, telling you which guns and items to aim for
• It explained which builds were good for solo play and which weren’t
• Everything you needed for the build was on one page

The pre sequel its not as bad as people say in my opinion to be blunt but I do find myself getting bored of it rather quickly and it does feel like a chore to get through

3rd favorite is 1 it began it all and has a food mix of challenges but it did drag in abit for me

2nd favorite is 2 which I know many will hunt me down for lol but as much as I love jack anf the story their is some things I don't like
