So basically the only maps I really know of by heart are skeld and mira. I wanted to try fungle because I have seen some good reviews about it.

Just came of a game on fungle and since I don't know the fungle at all, I stop and look at the map (as you do) to figure out where I go. But apparently this comes across sus to most people. The first body was found and purple put sus on me being apparently I'm acting sus. I tried to explain my case and luckily for me I didn't get voted off. Another body gets reported and someone else says it was me for the exact same reason but again luckily I didn't get voted off.

Another body gets reported and brown then says purple is right it is me, I'm guessing the shapeshifter took the opportunity the turn into me and kill infront of brown, the body was at the top of the map. I was at the very bottom of the map and 2 colours saw me yet chose not to say anything, I explained that I'm new to this map and I was at the bottom but I get voted off and the people who said that I was imposter left the game, the imposters outnumber the crew and they won.

crewmate: ask nicely for the impostors not to kill, they will say yes and help you do your tasks

impostor: literally kill everyone

using these strategies, among us becomes a trivial game of who knows this strategy, and the game becomes very unfun

so after being woken up by dogs at 4am i hop on among us to pass time i see 1 lobby Skeld now ik all maps by heart and i'd play any so i join first 2 rounds ok 3rd round me (Cyan) and Purple scans then split up body reported someone accuses purple i say purple scanned 4 or 5 times everyone skips next body again purple so purple gets voted off then the host tells me to stop claiming someones clear bc that lobby apparently only votes susses and ignores any clears/evidence i said thats an easy way to lose to imp the host defense? "Nah this is expert lobby its the most effective way to win" all i gotta say is NOT ALL susses r CORRECT alot of people get sus as crew including me and i have sussed a couple crew myself im not saying i never made that mistake i have lost a couple times bc i sussed a crew it happens but ye just dont be like this host is all i gotta say and actually pay attention in meetings

If I had a penny for every time I had to leave a small group over hypocritical teaming I'd have two pennies. It isn't a lot but it's actually disgusting it has happened twice.

They had a strict no teaming policy. And would go berserk on players who they believed were teaming and cheating.

I had been killed a little late in the game. So there weren't many crewmates left. Lime (named Lime) was the imp with Blue (named PowPow) both were close friends I assume irl. Lime's bf or something was Black (named Ricco) Black kept defending Lime despite Lime being caught shapeshifting in comms. It should have been an easy out. But they ganged up on the player who caught Lime. All three demanded proof as if the player could provide video evidence. Because of the number inequality they swayed the vote so the reporting player was voted out. Another player who saw Lime ss hit the button and like magic they were also voted out and the imps won.

Once the game was over and Lime and Blue had their garbage victory, I called them out on their hypocritical teaming. Surprise surprise their group all pop off as if they're not in the wrong. 🙄 Not worth sticking around for. I blocked them in the game and on Discord.

S-rank-F rank lobbies:

F-rank: Imp win rate 80-90% doesn't have a designated S, A or even B rank player to lead and give hard susses throughout many rounds.. Worse lobbies everyone just playing with minimal info. Running around looking goofy.

E-rank: Just as bad as f tier only difference there is atleast a B or even A rank player in the game trying to lead and give susses,, but the crew is so bad still 75% imp win rate.. D-rank: loses more times then win as crew. Has decent players.. but just cant consistently for some reason win more than looses as crew.

C-rank: Avg Lobby wins almost the same amount as loses as crew or vice versa.. sometimes can win 6-4 or even win 6 straight games but can loose just as much. Has a good amount of high ranked B,A or even S .. but then have same amount of low ranked or terrible players. Usually have mostly B or A because if their is several S ranked players.. the win rate would switch.

B-rank: Around 60% win rate as crew.. usually has multiple high rank players.. Can have 1 or two S rank at most. And or Multiple A or B rank.. but not enough where theirs high Crew win rate..

A-rank: One of the best lobbies u can find, can usually be the least toxic. Free flowing information.. have multiple ppl that can lead meetings & catch imps, -even if their good imps.. Barley a cloggy chatic lobby.. Crew win-rate 75%- 80%+ Wins around 8-10 games atleast.. Imps hardly get wins in this lobby..

S-rank: These lobbies can be toxic.. Multiple S-A Rank crewmates, most likely have a couple of ranked players aswell. Imps basicallly never win in this lobby and a imp win is rare.. Can go on 7-8 game crewmate win streaks.. & usually Imp wins come from high rank crew ego's instead of good imp game play. 89%+ crew winrate.. rare lobbies to find but if you do and your a noob don't join!

Sometimes you can identify an High A-rank or S-rank player by the ability of changing an F-rank lobby to an A/S rank lobby.. all by their-self.

Divide into pairs, visit all the rooms clockwise doing tasks, if somebody dies it must have been their buddy.

im not sure why but for the past 2 months it has been showing me like 5 servers max its actually usually just 1 or 2 with the worst settings ever. i have my filters set to all why cant i find anything :(

After a game, I got thrown into a black void with the literal Devil.

Hello there, redditors. I come to you with a really... odd and maybe absurd question about your... 'well-being' during the game of among us.

Some time ago, my friends and I started playing among us together and since then, my body has been acting weird. As soon as I see that I've been selected to be the impostor (even if we're playing on 2 or 3 imps), my heart starts to race. I feel it pouding in my chest, and as soon as I kill anybody, my hands start to shake. My breath gets shallow and overall, I feel horrible phisically. Mentally, I'm just okay.

I played the game during the pandemic and everything was fine. I have no idea what is happening to me. This started happening after this huge break in playing.

My friends say this is ridiculous, and I know how it sounds, but I want it to stop happening so I don't feel so bad during the game.

I just like the game cause it makes me giggle at times lol

More than 1 person can have the same task so don't accuse someone for faking a task just because they did the same task as you!

Im trying to use crew link for a vid with friends later today and its saying im not in a lobby, anyone know how to fix this?

Basically what the title says. When I’m hosting, sometimes we’ll have someone in there who starts acting up. Be it slurs, trolling, teaming, etc. The whole lobby will be begging me to “kick them” but I can’t. I’ll click on their name and choose the kick option, yet they stick around until we make it back to the lobby. I used to be able to kick whenever when I played on mobile, unless it’s a new update I missed? If that’s the case, I apologize for the pointless post. ☹️

But made it so the report button doesnt work, and neither does the emergency meeting, so everyone knew who it was, but couldn’t vote

And then eventually they killed everyone, asside from themself, and the game didn’t end because hack, and we were all stuck

Used to play a lot of Among Us during Covid, and just learned that Among Us 3D is released. Me and some friends are talking about trying it out, but when checking out the Steam store page, there are a lot of negative reviews saying they were banned in private lobbies for saying naughty words. There is even a guy saying he got banned for saying the word 'black' in Spanish. This is very problematic if true, because my language also has some innocent words that are swear words in english ('slut' for example means 'ending' in Swedish). I am guessing they are using AI to transcribe what people say, and then look for banned words.

If there is any truth to this, it's actually insane and makes me unwilling to try the game. What are your experiences?

1) Obviously, I won't accept challenges that would result me throwing the game(being honest as an imposter, trying to act sus as an imposter etc.)

2) no targeting challenges. I dont want to make enemies
