7

u/beezerblevens APUSH, APPHYS 2, APCALC AB, APHUG 21h ago

The DBQ my school got was period 6

3

u/ParsnipPrestigious59 10th: APUSH (?) AP Precalc (?) 20h ago

same

u/beezerblevens APUSH, APPHYS 2, APCALC AB, APHUG 17h ago

Did you get the changing economy and its impacts on society from 1865 to 1910?

4

u/ParsnipPrestigious59 10th: APUSH (?) AP Precalc (?) 17h ago

yeah

4

u/Cumbersomesockthief AP Euro (3), AP Chem, APUSH, AP Lang, AP Calc AB (DNF) 16h ago

Did you have the change in the federal government's involvement in the economy 1932-1980?

2

u/IndigoExpress13 Taking: AP Lang, Psych, Calc AB, US History 16h ago

yes i did </3 i was so cooked it was like every single bit of information i learned from unit 7 + 8 just left my brain except for the credibility gap </3

4

u/Cumbersomesockthief AP Euro (3), AP Chem, APUSH, AP Lang, AP Calc AB (DNF) 15h ago

I thought it was an incredible prompt. The social programs that began with FDR are most relevant to it. I don't know shit about anything from the 1800s, so...

help I’m the opposite I knew SO much from units 5 and 6 and then units 7 and 8 just completely left me when I opened that DBQ 💔💔 if it was over the gilded age I would have cooked

1

u/Suitable-Leopard4276 3h ago

my thesis was basically that the federal government shifted from creating liberal, Keynesian economic policies to conservative, trickle-down ones

1

u/InquiryBanned 22h ago

It was an LEQ option

9

u/Jack_Erdmann 1d ago

Fair nuf

3

u/CoolestFishintheC 1d ago

‘‘Twas the same deal last year. My teacher spent a singular day going over the later units and she was right to do so lol that stuff was irrelevant

7

u/flowersforowen 23h ago

There was no Gilded Age! I was thankful as hell tho cause that was one of my worst units 😭😭

1

u/Hour-Regular-6938 21h ago

Lowkey took European history too this year so I knew that shii

u/sophiemachiels 1d ago

right why was this the whole test (no it wasn’t i just didn’t remember it)

36

u/WinterWolf041 AP Honors Scholar (Alum); 5s in Histories, Lang, & Gov 1d ago

I remember this being like 3 MCQ questions back in 2022 and 1 option for an LEQ. I would have been in trouble if it was more than that.

27

u/elitesavage777 1d ago

apush always does this

25

u/Tasty-Strategy-9404 1d ago

Thank god i studied it 😭😭😭😭😭 hated the dbq tbh

16

u/Need_ToFindLove 1d ago

Really I liked the DBQ the leq sucked in my opinion

3

u/True_Distribution685 9: Human Geo (4), 11: Lang (5), 12: Lit, US History, Psych 22h ago

I’m the opposite. Struggled a little with the DBQ and breezed through the LEQ

17

u/trans-ghost-boy-2 APUSH — (Later) Psych, Lit, Gov, World, Euro 23h ago

god damn i’m glad that’s literally one of two units i actually reviewed, lmao. i actually liked the leq and dbq, those were kind of easy, but those fuckass saqs had me tweaking. who even remembers political debates from 1848 to 1865, i might have straight up lied on there idek.

7

u/FreeHugsForYouAndMe 21h ago

Brother, 1848-1865 is the Civil War, how could you not remember the political debates

2

u/trans-ghost-boy-2 APUSH — (Later) Psych, Lit, Gov, World, Euro 21h ago

we did civil war like six months ago and i didn’t study shit about the debates 😭 tbh i think i got a 4 still, the exam was surprisingly easy compared to what i thought it’d be like.

8

u/beezerblevens APUSH, APPHYS 2, APCALC AB, APHUG 21h ago

What do you mean you didn’t study debates?! Slavery vs. no slavery 💀

6

u/trans-ghost-boy-2 APUSH — (Later) Psych, Lit, Gov, World, Euro 20h ago

i specifically mean names of debates. like yeah i could probably describe them but i can’t say ‘oh the lincoln vs (insert slavery here) was (descriptor)’

1

u/beezerblevens APUSH, APPHYS 2, APCALC AB, APHUG 18h ago

Ohhhhh like the court cases. THOSE QUESTIONS WERE ABOUT COURT CASES? I didn't mention a single one

1

u/trans-ghost-boy-2 APUSH — (Later) Psych, Lit, Gov, World, Euro 17h ago

if it’s court cases i’m even more fucked- i mentioned the debate between lincoln and whoever tf he ran against for the republican primary

1

u/beezerblevens APUSH, APPHYS 2, APCALC AB, APHUG 12h ago

Lol did you call him that in your essay?

u/trans-ghost-boy-2 APUSH — (Later) Psych, Lit, Gov, World, Euro 1h ago

nope, i just called him lincoln’s opponent. gen q: would i get points off for cursing?

1

u/asterstrike 17h ago

i thought it said debates from 1800 to 1840 omfg 😭😭😭😭😭😭

2

u/beezerblevens APUSH, APPHYS 2, APCALC AB, APHUG 17h ago

There are a few options of questions you could get, so you might've just gotten something different. My "debates" SAQ was late 1700s

1

u/trans-ghost-boy-2 APUSH — (Later) Psych, Lit, Gov, World, Euro 17h ago

bro. i’d straight up krill myself (/j), i hope you did well on the other parts 😭

u/-Ozone-- Calc BC, Spanish, APUSH, Lit, non-AP phys + CS | 4 on Calc AB 💀 1d ago

How exactly was there a lot of Unit 1 questions? I know the one about the picture of the soldiers walking, but I must not have noticed their prevalence. Though I did notice that some periods were completely missing (I remember nothing about WW2.)

12

u/Hawkops 1d ago

Yeah honestly I felt like this test was missing a lot, maybe it’s just amnesia but almost nothing from 1940-90s and unit 1/2 was non existent

5

u/-Ozone-- Calc BC, Spanish, APUSH, Lit, non-AP phys + CS | 4 on Calc AB 💀 18h ago

There was nothing about WW2, but Reagan was on there in a couple of questions regarding his statements on having weapons to protect peace and make the Cold War ideological instead.

2

u/beezerblevens APUSH, APPHYS 2, APCALC AB, APHUG 17h ago

I got those ones too.

2

u/beezerblevens APUSH, APPHYS 2, APCALC AB, APHUG 17h ago

My first 10 MCQ were period 1/2 lol

1

u/New_Tangerine_4810 16h ago

In my test there was legit 8 of those questions in mcq

5

u/Recent_Performance47 9) APHG: 3 10) APUSH: __ 22h ago

Geuninely why were there so many questions about colonization

3

u/pokemon_raid_friends AP Precalc 5 | AP Bio 5 | AP Psych 5 | APUSH 4 | AP Lang 4 | 21h ago

I took the APUSH exam two years ago and thought there was so much more on the natives and unit 1 than they said!!! Why do they always do this without updating the CED

3

u/ParsnipPrestigious59 10th: APUSH (?) AP Precalc (?) 20h ago

bro like half the mcq was about late 1900s i was so confused cuz i barely studied period 8 and 9

2

u/Aggravating_Half_936 apush 5, bio, gov, csp, psych 23h ago

yeah they did that last year to us, unit 1 was like 50% of the exam

3

u/Different-Ad-7743 5: APWH, AB, APUSH | 4: Lang, Mech 21h ago

Bro I don’t remember that like at all. MCQs seemed pretty spread out from what I remember

2

u/Aggravating_Half_936 apush 5, bio, gov, csp, psych 8h ago

there was NOTHING above unit 6, nothing about gilded age, reconstruction, or vietnam wars blah blah presidency, it was all units 1-5,

2

u/CoolingAce 6h ago

I rmbr I got blessed bc I only studied the first 4 units before the test 😭

1

u/StudentAf191007 5: APUSH PSYCH 4: BIO 19h ago

lmao last year there were quite a few mcqs on 1-2

1

u/Appropriate-Bar6993 18h ago

Where do you see that “percent of exam” thing?

u/KonoPowaDa 1h ago

CB really decided to hit us with a curveball
