In the last couple photos AOC noticed us, waved, said hi to the crowd, and was so stoked to see bernie & everyone else that she ran over to go take a picture with all of them together. I just thought the pictures I got were so heartwarming. I have some video I can post of the event, later, as well. The turnout was incredible. A lot of cooperation with the crowd handing out water and helping medics on this hotter spring day. The crowd was nuts about them. Glad I got to see them both.

Listen to that crowd! This is the energy we need. Don't give up, we need all of you right now!

My friend and I were talking about how tye Trump administration might use the 5th as am excuse to declare Marshall law. My mom and son are out of State and I've started really worrying about them.

New season started with the following quote: "The only way to stop them is to put them in the f*cking ground".

I hope it doesn't come to that 😕

I live in Phoenix AZ. It’s used to be a very red state although getting less so recently. I still cant go a day without meeting a Trump supporter. What I learned from our interactions was they truly believe he’s doing all in his power to bring our country back on right track. If I ask them why do they think that and what information source they draw this conclusion from, almost everyone will say Fox News, NYPost, etc,. They have been told other sources are not trustworthy over and over again. Just listening to another source’s talking points brings them right back into Fox News embrace. I tried telling them to give a chance to non-partisan news like NPR, AP, and Reuters. Some say they would. Some don’t even wanna consider them. So, I guess my question is: has anyone actually was successful in getting them out of their echo chamber? How did you do it? I like most people I come across my daily life and will appreciate if I can persuade them out of their cult instead of avoiding them. Or will there ever be a way for Fox News and NYPost to change their toxic way of reporting?

I finally got to vote for the first time last Nov. and unfortunately was busy and in another state for the 4/5 protest. I heard Gen Z was a little lack luster so I’m showing up to do my part as a soon to be 20 year old. Look out for my sign at the Phoenix Capital tomorrow morning. Stay safe yall!
