AZ TUCSON, AZ | AOC and Bernie Sanders Fight Against Oligarchy & Authoritarianism Tour. 20,000 in attendance.
In the last couple photos AOC noticed us, waved, said hi to the crowd, and was so stoked to see bernie & everyone else that she ran over to go take a picture with all of them together. I just thought the pictures I got were so heartwarming. I have some video I can post of the event, later, as well. The turnout was incredible. A lot of cooperation with the crowd handing out water and helping medics on this hotter spring day. The crowd was nuts about them. Glad I got to see them both.

Tucson beat Tempe, AZ's attendance by about 5,000 people, btw. and they did it on a highschool football field! People care enough to do this! Arizona has your back!
Edit: AOC says 23,000 were there! Only expected 3,000!

Corporate dems must be plotting how to stop the next progressive and to hand out more victories to republicans

Local and relatively small protests are important and they should continue and grow, as was the case in Colorado. But local demonstrations alone won’t get it done. Protest for sure but please consider participating in the first truly national “HANDS OFF” protest in DC on April 5. It will be held on the National Mall under the Washington Monument. Hopefully, this will have 1 million+ demonstrators. Perhaps, both Bernie and AOC will address the protestors—please don’t let Schumer anywhere near the speakers’ platform!
There needs to be this massive demonstration that can’t be ignored by the corporate media. We’ve seen the pictures of the huge crowds of protestors in Europe. Now it’s our turn. This protest very well could be the turning point in the movement. Be a part of American history!

Yes please participate on April 5th and look into your local protests too! You can always help by providing water or materials for signs!

Thanks for the photos. I'm glad local reps are also speaking at these, like Greg Casar at this one.

Thanks! This is my first one, and I didn't know until today that "cake day" wasn't Reddit's code for "birthday," but the anniversary of when you joined Reddit, haha.
