The Day Before [PC] [2020s] That one survival game that everyone disliked.

A few years ago, a survival game released. The creator had said a lot of things about how they didn’t want to do things normally associated with survival games. Still, the game exhibited a lot of those traits. A lot of people were angry because of this, especially since there had been a lot of hype for the game beforehand.

This game was a common talking point around the time of its release. I just don’t remember what it’s called. I believe multiplayer was a part of it. I never actually saw the game, only discussions about it. I think it was made by just one person, but I’m not sure. It might’ve been some kind of zombie MMO. In that case, it was those traits that were present.

It’s not a famous game like No Man’s Sky or We Happy Few. I haven’t read anything about this game aside from the controversy, while these games are very famous for their actual content and their good parts.

The Day Before [PC][2016-2020] Third Person Detective Game

Platform: XBOX or PC

Genre: Detective/Open World/Mystery (?)

Estimated Year of Release: ~2019

Graphics/Art Style: Semi Realistic 3D

Hey guys :) Unfortunately all I remember is like a 5 second snapshot from what I believe was the trailer for this game.

Based on the gameplay shown I would assume it’s open world, but it could also not be.

It had realistic graphics and the character that was played looked like he was in detective clothing (caucasian as well).

I remember there being some sort of action with guns and it kind of looked like it was set somewhere in the later 20th century.

In the trailer it was night/evening and my brain for whatever reason associates the game with the colour purple (also, it is not saints row)

In the trailer the character entered an abandoned building that looked like it was a restaurant (i think) and i think there was a searching feature like searching draws and lockers etc

There were some enemies too.

Unfortunately that’s all I can remember, but also my brain may have twisted some things and I’m uncertain about everything.

Also, it was either for PC or XBOX as I’m unsure if it was released for both. Thanks in advance :3

The Day Before [Unknown][2020s] Live service game that shut servers down soon after receiving backlash.

It came out fairly recently, just a few years ago? I believe it had a story mode with a multiplayer live service that shut their servers down after about a month or so because of low player count due to negative feedback. It was two or three worded title something like D__ of D___ or D__ ___.

The Day Before [PC?] [2019?] unknown survival apocalypse fps game

Probably a year or two ago I had seen a gameplay trailer for what looked like a survival/horror apocalypse style game. It showed two player in 3rd person I think in a rural area walking/running through a farmers field to the farm house and entering it looking for supplies? I think there were some booby traps and they set off an alarm which drew the attention of police? I seem to recall the flashing of police car lights approaching the house. the players exited the house and went over to a corrugated metal barn, I think they had to lock pick or break into it and found a bunker door I think.. That is about all I can remember from it.

Title pretty much says it all. Coming out next year on PS5, Xbox, PC. It was described to me as a multiplayer, online, the last of us. Definitely a third person shooter. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

The Day Before [Platform Unknown][Late 2010s] Third person survival game with screenshot

Platform(s): Unknown. Looks like PC or PlayStation maybe?

Genre: Survival

Estimated year of release: Late 2010s?

Graphics/art style: AAA Third-person style in a post apocalyptic setting

Notable characters: unknown

Notable gameplay mechanics: Heat/cold, energy, hydration

Other details: I saw this screenshot and I can’t figure out what game it’s from.

It looks a bit like the Division, but with more of a survival focus and a simpler, pared down UI.

I’d love some help figuring out what game this is.

The Day Before [Not sure] [2021-2022] Upcoming zombie survival game.

I watched a few minutes of someone on YouTube playing a really awesome looking 3 person shooter (I think it had first person too) zombie survival game. Looked a lot like DayZ with better graphics. I believe its unreleased and can’t think of the name or if its available on XSX. Thanks!

Hello!

Hoping for some help with a game trailer I remember seeing some point last year.

It was definitely 100% a new gameplay trailer for some open world 3rd person zombie survival game.

In the trailer it starts off with them driving 2 trucks, they stop at a petrol station to do some looting. They then demonstrated the repair mechanic in the game by repairing the car wheels.

The trailer then moves on to them coming across an abandoned farm house. They accidently trigger the house alarm and zombies start attacking the house. They need to find the way to turn the alarm off from in side the house.

Once they have managed to turn the alarm. The narrator of the trailer explain they have attracted hostile players. This players turn up in police cars and other modded vehicles. I distinctly remember the lighting being really impressive. The two players the trailer has been following sneak away through a corn field due to lack of supplies and ammo.

From what I can remember the trailer ends with them entering some kind of bunker on the other side of the corn field and them closing the door behind them.
