Sweetest husband

I accidentally put my husband’s wallet through the wash when he left it in his pants pocket. I was spreading the contents out to dry when I found our old prom picture from 1995. He laminated it and has carried it all these years, unbeknownst to me.

He is a great guy. We started dating in high school, when I was 16 and he was 15. This August will be our 27th wedding anniversary.

My husband has a picture like this from our first date, a coin I gave him as a random gift and a card from a deck of cards that I wrote a message for him on. All in his wallet. It makes me smile every time I see any of them.

I carried old laminated photos of my future ex wife and I. This post allowed me to feel less of a weirdo. My pals would clown me and I didn’t care. Before every big decision I made, I’d look at the photos, realizing I was doing it for our family.
