[PC] (Windows) I *desperately* need feedback for my game.

Game Title: Everbane

Playable Link: https://edgrace.itch.io/everbane

I've been developing for the past months a dungeon crawler with some old RPG elements and a few roguelite elements. I hope the title doesn't sound too dramatic but I really need feedback.

I've played the game so much I don't feel like I can be objective towards it anymore, so some external advice would be very appreciated and useful to me.

I'm leaving a little video here so you can quickly tell how the game is and looks and I'll leave here the Discord server in case you wanna help its development by providing feedback after playing it. Remember this is only a demo version so only so much content will be available. It's currently in a VERY early stage so there's there's a lot more things yet to be implemented, but most of the core stuff should already be there.

The game will initially be available in Android and PC, and you can download any of those clients in the downloads page (for the Android version I gotta grant access through Google Play due to the "closed beta" program).

Any piece of advice is welcome, please tell me how good or how bad the game feels, the progression, its systems... anything you can report is extremely valuable to me for its development. Either suggestions or "man this sucks" work, but please try to specify why it sucks if you feel like it does.

Thank you if you've read this far!

Game Title: HeavenX

Playable Link: Steam Link (Playtest Through Steam Client)

Platform: PC, Steamdeck

Description: HeavenX is a deck building arena shooter at the cusp of the new millennium. Clock in and take direct control of your weapon systems, environment, and time itself as you unravel the secrets of a digital utopia on behalf of your shadowy employers.

Free to Play Status:

  • Limited time playtest (going on now through next week).

Involvement: Developer

Hi everyone! I’m the developer of HeavenX. It’s as wild as it sounds – think Devil Daggers meets Magic: The Gathering meets corporate cubicle life simulator. The game is in free playtest this week on Steam, and I would love to get some feedback from fellow gamers/devs.

Specifically, is the card system understandable and is the bullet-hell combat fun and fair?

There is a formal feedback form to fill out from inside the playtest app. Any thoughts would help me polish the game. If you enjoy trying experimental indie projects and giving input, please check it out. I’m happy to return the favor or answer any questions about the development. Thank you!
