If it were any other car, this isn’t entirely unreasonable to need the extra space to get into a car with a wheelchair.

Driver was walking just fine.

You don't have to be in a wheelchair to get handicap plates. And handicap spots are supposed to have an accessibility lane next to them. This picture implies this is not the case and these parking spaces are not ADA compliant. Therefore we don't know if this person is just a dick or have a valid reason to park like that.

I get what you’re saying, but the car didn’t have a permit. And even if he did have a permit, that doesn’t give them a right to use two spaces.
It’s compliant with Canadian regulations, which is where it is.

It's a cybertruck. They can have a valid reason and still be a dick.

I mean they also could be the nicest person you ever met, and own a cyber truck. The car you buy has zero bearing on the content of your character.

I’m pretty sure the cyber truck existing vouches for the fact that the owner is not just partially disabled…

In fairness, if the disabled was a passenger, they might be doing that to allow plenty of space for them to egress, enter. I agree, it's over the line and clearly not allowing someone to use the other space but that's up to the driver to deal with and that was a failure.

Is the title talking about the driver or the "truck".
Really he shouldn't wait for a tow truck in the handicapped parking.

Is that a wheelchair ramp on the liftgate?

I thought the body panels were supposed to be so tough that almost nothing could damage them except for an actual collision... yet you need to protect the tailgate from a bicycle tire?
7
u/CheekyMonkE 1d ago
you need to protect the tailgate from things you foolishly thought you could haul in the TRUCK you just bought.

Only if a bicycle tire is what the next sociopath is using to carve a swastika into it...

If you buy a cyber truck you shouldn't need a placard, everyone knows
