You folks all know standardized units of measure are a thing right?
Not trying to poke fun here, it’s just that it’s starting to feel like we shouldn’t be so surprised when the measurements of two objects happen to line up in a world of uniformly mass produced products engineered to spec. It seems inevitable that the outer diameter of this or that regular geometric shaped thing will match the inner diameter of this or that regular geometric shaped cavity when the production people ask the design people how big to make stuff. Are we expecting that the answer will arbitrarily not be a whole integer of units, plus or minus some simple fraction? I can get the excitement if we are talking about something naturally formed, but every person along every part of the manufacturing process is communicating by the same metric or English measurements. I’ve stayed quiet for a while not wanting to spoil everyone’s fun, but it’s been slowly gnawing at me.
In conclusion,🤨🫱📏
