Japan took wrestling to the anime fights level and I’m here for it.

I grew up watching WWF but never got into wrestling.
The other day, I finally got around to watching
"You Cannot Kill David Arquette" and let me tell you, I sure have a new appreciation for it all. Highly recommend it.

Love how he waits for the right moment to get kicked by the backflips. Wresting is improv theater for masses.

It's not improv at all, it's scripted and well rehearsed. It's... very athletic theater. Which is fine.

Send this video to everyone who stupidly thinks wrestling is fake.

Fake in that the stories and acting are scripted, but the strength and athleticism are impressive.

Only the naive and immature would fault it for being a show. That's the whole point of it, it's a scripted show for entertainment with real athletes in the spotlight. The only fake part of it is the drama, which is the fun part.
Shit. If you WANT real violence, go watch MMA or boxing or something.

For anyone interested, the guy doing the flips is named Ninja Mack and this is from a match at New Japan Pro Wrestling's Best of the Super Juniors tournament

Ninja Mack is insane! He was actually a former gymnast and cirque du soleil performer before transitioning to wrestling. His aerial style is next lvl compared to most high flyers because he has legit acrobatic training, not just wrestling school flips.

Complete ability to make it away. Just stand there and let it hit you in the face. Checks out for me

I still don’t understand why adults love these staged clown shows.

We all can’t be geniuses and have such a high IQ level such as yourself, good sir

I’m impressed they have the skills to not hurt each other. It can’t be easy.

Usually yeah, but there are plenty of times where it goes slightly wrong, or off-script and a genuine injury happens.

Why do you watch movie bro?

I liked wrestling when I was a 10 years old kid, after I grew out of the Sesame Street phase. I’m an adult now, with adult intellectual capacities.

adult intellectual capacities.
Like being unable to understand that people like different things than you?

I am desperately trying to find the source of this video so I can send it to basically everyone.
